I ordered my bridesmaid dress in size 10 at David Bridal, but I lost a lot of weight and it doesn't fit me now. It is too late for alterations...do you think they would let me exchange for a size 8 off the rack. Are those dresses for sale? Anyone done this before? I feel stupid calling if this is not the case.

When you have already bought a wedding gift for a wedding shower, Is it wrong not to take anything to the actual wedding? Or are you suppose to buy two wedding gifts?

I was close friends with a girl who I liked, so I told her. She responded by saying that she just wanted to be friends. This was about 2 weeks ago. Over the course of the last 2 weeks she has kissed me many times and we have cuddled intimately alot. She rings me 1st thing in the morning and last thing at night, and many times during the day. We go out for dinner alot! She has told me everything about her! We talk for hours each day.

She still says we are friends. Says she has gotten hurt by previous boyfriends many times and not long ago and is scared of giving her heart away again.

What does this mean? Does she even like me? What should I do?

"something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, and a silver sixpence in her shoe."

where did that saying come from? does anybody here actually follow that... meaning, do you actually take something old, something new, and so on during your wedding day? what do you benefit from having all those? i'm southeast asian. so, the quote sounds funny to me.

Thank you.

My fiance and I are trying to set a date for our wedding next FALL of 2007. We have decided on a place- "The Manor" in West Orange, NJ. Our first choice is Saturday night, but due to some problems in scheduling, we might have to have the wedding on Sunday. I have heard that Sunday weddings are less formal and we were actually hoping for it to be at least black tie-optional. Also, out of town family will have to fly back Monday and take off work. Sunday prices are a lot cheaper, but we dont want people to think we are cheap and chose Sunday to save money.

Is Sunday that bad for a Wedding Day?
