I am from a small town and I am secretly seeing my ex and everyone is running around talking about it and telling my ex-fiance that I was cheating on him with this guy and thats why I broke up with him. But that isn't true. the reason I broke up with him was because I wasn't happy, I just happened to start talking to my ex again. why can't people mind their own business? What can I tell my parents so I can secretly stay at my ex's house without them knowing. (I am 21 by the way)

Thanks for all the responses. I feel like I should add something. Could it be she has the personality of a male, in regards to freedom. Meaning she has many "options" so doesnt want to get tied down with just one? And generally males have that one girl they hold over the rest, but dont commit to them because they know they will always have a special something. It almost seems like thats my situation. And if this is indeed the situation, should I stick around and wait for her while dating other people as well?

I'm a guy, early 30s, great job, decent looking, love making people laugh. But I don't have a significant other and it's starting to drive me nuts - I wake up nights thinking about it. I've had 3 girlfriends in the past (only one serious - 3 yrs), but very glad those relationships ended for the right reasons. Recently, I had a big crush on this one girl (when I was in b-school), she flirted with me (perhaps to get career advice), then mentioned her BF (who lives in a diff city) off and on and sent mixed signals. At a party, she asked me to dance and we rubbed up on the dance flr, only to get the cold shoulder from her later that week. I ignored her for 2 months thinking she's a flake, she called later, we hung out, but she again gave mixed signals, asked me to meet the next day and blew me off next morning. I go on dates, tried online, but most girls seem superficial, fake or we just don't click. Meanwhile, my friends all have kids! I'm happy, but also aware that I'm getting old. Help!

Do you want to spend more time w/ them when you're first dating? Or do you spend more time after you've been together for awhile? I don't like feeling smothered when I'm first seeing them. I don't like talking to them everyday because it gets boring to me. When I'm more attached I'd like to talk and see them more. Is anybody else the same way?

I like this guy who is 23 and im 17. He knows how old I am. He doesnt want a relationship . He says that he only sees him self with me sexually. I'm a virgin, and I feel like if i have sex with him that will make me more connected to him. I only want to give my self to him if he wants to be in a committed relationship. I don't see that happening... Maybe we would be in a relationship but it doesnt look like it will be something that will last for the rest of my life. Because he is so persistant that he keeps saying he is gonna marry a 5'4", yankee, with money. How crazy is that?? yea its disgusting for most people, but somehow i cant help it. My mom tells me i've been doing that since i was a little girl like 8 and ive just kept burping loud. I dont burp as loud when there are people around me. Around my friends i can, but like visit i cant. Even though i dont burp without opening my mouth, i burp "inside" my throat and they can still hear me, so i resist myself from drinking something. There are times i can burp silent without having someone here me, but when im at my house, i burp as i usually do. Can u help me "control" it, if that would be the word?

My boyfriend decided to take off on the motorcycle this weekend, and never thought to call me and tell me that he was going anywhere.The cell was off, and he was nowhere to be found. None of his friends knew where he was, or his family.I assumed that he didn't want to be with me anymore because a responsible boyfriend would of at least dropped me a goodbye call.So, I took all of his crap from my house, and put it in the garage. Well, he knew last night that I was mad at him, he mumbled it under his breath while his mom drilled him about where he was.Where he was, I can totally why he went, but why was a phone call not on his agenda?To let SOMEONE know he is okay?Now, he shut off his phone, cause I think he thinks I broke up with him, and the cell phones are in my name.I sent him a text saying that he needs to let me know what is going on, so I can figure out what to do with the phone.Does he think that I dumped him?I would hate to lose what I thought was special over miscommunication.

He told me that they were best friends before and he wants to renew that friendship. I know that she still had feelings for him but she is seeing someone new now so I'm not sure. I feel uncomfortable about the entire thing. I told him how I feel and he said that I was the reason he missed out on being friends with her before because he broke it off for me. Now I am at a standstill because if I ask him to stop being friends with her he will blame me and yet I've felt so uncomfortable and just generally bad for the past two weeks! I hate feeling this way and I cannot understand his insitence to be friends with someone he knows I'm uncomfortable with. When they were friends before she had bad mouthed me and that is why I asked him to tell her not to. Any advice?

I have been married for a long time to a man I love as a dear friend but not as a lover. I have been starved for a passionate, emotional connection for so long. I went out with my friends and all we did was talk,ride around in the car, and take walks. I came home and my boyfriend told me my breath smelled different and he thinks I was smokeing or drinking. He got upset and went home but, I saw him today and he sais he is not mad and is not going to break up with me but, he keeps pushing me away when I go to hug him or kiss him. I like this guy, my god do i like him he is sweet and sensetive and has most of the qualities that i am looking for in a guy. But last night we had sex for the first time and he is soo small. Smaller than i expected, and I felt it but it was kind of weird in a way. My mom wants me to date someone who is a Christian and he is....he just got into alittle trouble last March...He got a DWI but he's really cleaning his act up....I like him alot and I'm afriad....she will hate him.....my dad doesn't care its just my mom and stepdad...I also have a 1 1/2 year old daughter and they don't want me to make another mistake like I did....
