Do you think it is possible to meet and truly fall in love with someone far away on the internet? Is marriage an option? If you cannot meet face to face before marriage, would you still go through with it because your gut and your heart say to? I am in similar situation. I know what I am doing. alright, so i've like this guy for a while and he's really sweet, respectful, and cute, and the whole shebang. the problem is, is that he's 18 and in college and i'm 16 and a sophmore in high school. we met last year. but the thing is that we're barely even 2 years apart, not 3 like our grades. he's actually suppose to be a senior this year, but he started school early. i have a september birthday, and i was gunna start school early, but i didn't and i'm one of the oldest in my grades. so techically, it would be like a jounior dating a senior. which isn't bad. and i've always been mature for my age.

well anyway, the REAL QUESTION: i'm seeing him this weekend and i haven't seen him since summer before he left for college. so when i see him....should i flirt around with him? or is he too old for me???

anything would help!!!!

So here's the thing. First year at a public high school. Two weeks in I meet this amazing guy and he asks me to homecoming. He's all into me. Homecoming is amazing. Dances with me all night, holds my hand... About a week later my friend tells me he wants to be single. We argue for about a week and he finally tells me he doesnt want a girlfriend right now. He's best friends with my very good friend on my swim team.(girl). Today I find out that he wants to ask her out. Typical boy dilemma but any advice?

There's a guy in my class, he always tells to do his english homeworks because he does not know english very well. Every time he asks me for that, i was gonna say no but then it aleays happens that i finished by saying yes i'm willing to do it... I really don't know what's happening to me. ive been crushing on this girl for a long long time. and a couple years ago i did something really immature (i didnt insult her) that probably turned her off of me for a while. but now we're back in the same class, but i dont talk to her unless we're in groups working on an experiment (she sits right in front of me, and theres not a lot of social time). and since i did what i did a couple of years ago, ive noticed her looking at me, and staring sometimes, and now, in class, when we're working together i get the feeling she may be interested in me. like i said before, ive been crushing on her for a long time, and theres this dance coming up, that i really want to go with her to. which brings me to my question, whats the best way to get a girl alone so you can ask her out?? please please please, ive really gotta know.

Alright, let us write what we know:
My boyfriend and I have only been together for just under 5 months.
I'm 18, he is 16.
He has two vehicles.
He is considering blowing his savings on a third unnecessary vehicle.
I, obviously, do not support this.
I recognize that I should not influence this decision.
I also recognize that if we do have any kind of serious future together, we should both be saving. I've been saving as much as handling my tuition allows me to becuase I plan to buy a house rather than rent as soon as I finish college and move out. I thought he shared this perspective. Financial stability is a big factor in my book, and he doesn't seem to have much regard for money.
Do I let this ruin the relationship?
Financial issues are not the only ideas on which we differ, and I just don't know if it's worth seeing where this is going if I know I can't start a life wtih him when the time comes because of such differences.
I know we are young, so should this even matter?

My friend of mine is dating a really nice girl, but I think he might be loosing feeling for her. I would't ever want her heart to be broken, and I don't feel comfterable asking my friend about her. It seems like whenever she wants to get cosy with him, he has an excuse, like a cold or something. He suddently stopped giving me any information on where the relationship is going, and it seems like they're much more personal (actually secretive) than before. I don't know whether this is normal in realtionships (they have been dating for at least a couple months) or if they might be heading towards the garbage.

My ex broke up with me 5 months ago, he wasnt sure how he felt and it wasnt fair to stay in a relationship like that. I said some hurtful things to him out of anger and being broken hearted so he stopped speaking to me a few weeks after the break up. I sent him one email apologizing for everything. I vowed to forgive myself and move on, deleted his number, got rid of photos, and eventually started dated but nothing serious. Last week he calls me, he misses me. He was a great guy but im scared to go back and get hurt again by him. What do I do, should I meet him?

we sat together last year for a class and he kept on talking to me even if I was so shy and quiet... like I only smiled back whenever he talked to me and yet he continued to talk to me everyday... he even brought up things about my past that I wouldn't have expected him to remember or even know... whenever I walk pass him in the halls (this year) with my friends, he only looks at me and not at my friends... so does he like me or am I just being overly sensitive?

I was on/off with my girlfriend for 2 years. We each have done hurtful things to one another and she always was pretty sensitive. I always knew she cared about me a lot. We hung out before school started and everything was fine. Then all of a sudden when school started she stopped talking to me and no longer had much interest in me. I texted her every couple of days or so and she always texted back. We stopped talking for awhile. Then she texted me happy birthday. I called and asked her if she wanted to hang out sunday night and she said she couldn't she left all her homework for sunday. She still ignores me in the hallways. We have a class together in school and she doesn't say a word or aknowledge me. How did she forget about me so quick? And why is she doing this to me? Do you think she still cares about me?

ok look the thing about me is that im totally paranoid. For example, last year when i had a fight with my best friend i figured that all my classmates would be in his side and i felt like it. Now that school is almost ending... i realise that my best friend has no position in my class... turned out not everyone likes him... and my other best friend hated the fact that i hang out with him... and finally i was able to know that my classmates are not that terrible. And then recently me and my best friend's relationship seems to be stronger but when i look back at things... there seems to be a lot of his terrible things he did... for example when school started he hang out with the only boy from my class and dont even bother with me (my school is private theres only over 10 stud in my class)... and it seemed that if my other classmates hanged out with him he would left me.... the thing is i dont want my future be ruined cause of this thing cos im pursuing my education with him overseas

I'm just curious as to what honest opinions are about people who are on disability. I'm on medical disability for depression. Would you date someone who you knew (from the beginning) was on disability? Or would that be a turn off to you? Be honest now.

I'm hoping to be going back to work at the first of the year (fingers crossed!), but it's always bothered me as to how my being on disability is perceived by others. I know it can be looked at as something very negative. I know it shouldn't matter, but I hate to tell people that I don't work and am on disability for depression. I'm 28 and to look at me, there's nothing "wrong" but depression has just been really dibilitating to me over the past several years. I really hope that I can make friends and find the person I was meant to marry and I'm doing things to try to make that happen, but I was just wondering. Yes, I'm in therapy and it's helping...thank goodness!

im 14 and my parents aren't too strict, but they wont let me have any guy friends! (even though i do, alot.)
it's mostly my dad, but my mom gets so uptight and interrogative when i mention a guy friend.

my dad agreed that it was okay to have guy friends as long as they weren't boyfriends
but he totally contridicted this the other day when he had my cellphone and one of my guy-friends called to ask for homework. my dad called me afterwards and started complaining about "why do you have so many boys trying to contact you? why did he call you? who is he?!?"

how can i let my parents understand that they are all just friends? its annoying that their so overprotective! do they not trust me or think im going to "do" something bad or something??

My girlfriend suddenly told me that she did not want to be with my anymore. We have been dealing with some relationship issues for almost two months now. She then told me 30 minutes later by sms that she wants to commit suicide. When I saw her she was depressed, weak, and sad looking. What should I say or do to help her? I truly love her and do not want her to do anything that she regrets!! She asked me to do it with her then said no. She wil do it herself. But she will not tell me what she plans on doing. Help!!
