I cannot cast a stone because I have been there myself. I haven't been on disability for it, but I take meds and see a therapist. There's nothing wrong with you, depression is a disease just like diabetes or something. At least you're getting help for it and making positive changes! If you were that depressed and did nothing for it, then I would have doubts.

A great question! I'm sure it wouldn't bother guys. If your a man on disability you better enjoy being alone! I have been disabled because of back surgery and depression for 3 years and haven't had a date in 4 years. So in N/E/Texas no woman close to my age wants to date someone living on disability.Good luck with the work.

I am happily married and have been for 14 years now. I suffer from depression and I did when I first met my husband. He still married me. Your not different just because you suffer from it. Maybe you will find somebody who can help you over come it. I did for awhile after I met my husband but allot of things have happened in the past few years that made me fall back into depression. Loss of father in-law to cancer.year later brother in-law committed suicide and my best friend died a year after that at the age of 28 to a massive heart attack and a few more things . I don't take medication for it. But I am dealing with it day to day. I think you will find somebody . Good luck and hang in there ..

i would date someone with disability and depression,i would hope that i might be able to make that person smile a ;little and forget their worries and pain for a few hours. like the other person said, its like having diabetes or something. there is nothing wrong with ya, lots of people hear what is told and never take the time to see that person for whom he is.
good luck

Yeah I would. If thats like the first thing they told me it would be kind of striking, but I would still give them a chance and see how it pans out. I would try to find that someone that loves you for you, then tell them. I'm sure they won't mind.

Yes, i would. If you fall in love with someone, you just do it, You don't care about their disabilities, depressions and the color of their hair. So, i would.

Yes I would... I find it increadibly hot when a girl leans on me for support when she's going through a tough time. It makes me feel like she needs me and like I can really do something good for her. I know that's a selfish reason, but I'm just being honest.

Of course I would (If I were young enough, that is!) And help you, too - that would be an honour and a pleasure.
Love means being there for someone. Old-fashioned, perhaps, but that's how I see it. Please do not worry about how your disability is perceived by others: God made you, and if you are good enough for him, you are good enough for anyone! Good luck, and God bless.
