alright, so i've like this guy for a while and he's really sweet, respectful, and cute, and the whole shebang. the problem is, is that he's 18 and in college and i'm 16 and a sophmore in high school. we met last year. but the thing is that we're barely even 2 years apart, not 3 like our grades. he's actually suppose to be a senior this year, but he started school early. i have a september birthday, and i was gunna start school early, but i didn't and i'm one of the oldest in my grades. so techically, it would be like a jounior dating a senior. which isn't bad. and i've always been mature for my age.

well anyway, the REAL QUESTION: i'm seeing him this weekend and i haven't seen him since summer before he left for college. so when i see him....should i flirt around with him? or is he too old for me???

anything would help!!!!

age-wise he's not too old. but since he's in college now and everything he might be into other things.
i'm 18 and in college and i would never date someone in high school but i'm also a girl, so it's a bit different. and i know a few of 18 year old guys dating girls in high school.
anyway, i don't think you should flirt unless he shows that he's interested first. just in case.

Maturity level you should be fine. a 16 year old girl and an 18 year old guy are at about the same matuiry level early on when he is in college. There are two things to worry about. College changes people and matures them faster meaning he will probably grow more distant to someone thats still in high school for 3 more years. Secondly he is 18 so its illegal, proceed with caution!

Okay, as far as years apart go, no, he is not too old for you.

BUT when it comes to legalities, YES, he is too old for you. He is an adult now and you are still a minor. Whether or not you two do anything together, if anyone accuses him of it, he could end up in jail for being with you.

I know it is hard at that age when there really isn't that much difference, but you really need to not do that, because it would totally not be worth it. Wait until you are 18 and he is 20 and then you will be legal and he can't go to jail over it.

No, he is not too old for you. There could be ten years difference and it still would not be a problem. When it comes to relationships, physical age doesn't matter (well, there is a limit, but...), the age of mentality is what makes or breaks a relationship.

It is up to you to flirt with him or not. If you are comfortable, go for it. Only you can control your actions.

Two years apart isn't much of an age difference at all. He might be a little more experienced than you at the moment because he is in college, but eventually you will be in college together. I say go for him if you like him.

He's not to old for you. But do you want the hardship of a relationship that is long distance. But he's definitely not to old for you my fiance is almost 5 years older then me. Remember that flirting can be done freely with anyone of any age, unless your taken or you know they're taken. Good Luck.
