I am from a small town and I am secretly seeing my ex and everyone is running around talking about it and telling my ex-fiance that I was cheating on him with this guy and thats why I broke up with him. But that isn't true. the reason I broke up with him was because I wasn't happy, I just happened to start talking to my ex again. why can't people mind their own business? What can I tell my parents so I can secretly stay at my ex's house without them knowing. (I am 21 by the way)

most of the time it is because they don't want to deal with their own BS...hang in their and remember...when it comes down to it....this IS YOUR LIFE

People in small towns LOVE drama. If it isn't you they are talking about then it's about someone else having an affair or doing drugs or driving drunk. Drama and gossip....people strive for it. Even if you stood up in front of the whole town to air your laundry, they still would talk about you cheating. It's a lifetime soap opera.

Obviously, it's not a secret if everyone in town knows and if you are 21 then you shouldn't have to lie to your parents. If the ex boyfriend makes you happy then you shouldn't have to keep it a secret. What's the purpose of hiding it from everyone? You know what truly happened and that should be the only thing that matters.

If you are twenty-one , you shouldn't be doing anything secretly..

that's what is causeing your problem..

If you want to sleep with your boyfriend do so....

And I grew up in a small town, and yes, they will call you a whore, and you could have avoided all the drama and got married....
