Singles & Dating - 9 May 2007

My boyfriend and I have been going out for just a few short months, but have been friends for years. I love him and trust him and all that good stuff. He and I are going to separate colleges in the fall. I know we'll be apart for three years unless one of us transfers schools... however, we will be visiting each other every chance we get on breaks and such. He wants to start a long-distance relationship and I'm all for it. What do you think about this? Do we stand a chance? The main reason I'm willing to give it a shot is because I don't want to lose what we have together.... he understands me like no one else does. Any experienced advice would be much appreciated.

Me and my ex just got back together after a year and a half seperation. i am sooo glad about it, but we live four hours apart. we can't really drive and see each other every so often. especially with the gas prices the way they are. we broke up cause of the long distance factor, so we wanted to try and make it work this time, especially with like alittle of a year of school left. I like my boyfriend so much, but there is this guy down where i live too that i have interest in. How do i make this work? I want to stay true to my boyfriend and yet, i have this feeling we will end up breaking up for the same reasons. ( i am going to go see him this summer, but what about after this summer?) i am so confused. i also thought about moving back up there where he lives, but i would be throwing away a good scholar ship if i did that. so maybe you all could help me out here. I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!!!

I really like this 25 year old guy and I am 18 and a senior in high school. He is a really sweet guy and he graduated from college a little while ago and now subs but is not a full-fledged teacher yet. My parents seem to think that he has problems because he wants to date an 18 yr old. I don't see why it should matter. I am a 17 year old female with a business and a school life that I am trying to balence all at once. BUT I think my boyfriend is trying to tell me that I am doing way too much at once but he has a lot on his plate. I need some skills from everyone to find out if he is "in it to win it or just trying to get me in the sach." I need your opinions to find out what I should do to find out if he really want to be with me or have sex with me to lose his viginity. Ok here's the story I need only honest REAL answers.. no jerks allowed!! This guy I was dating tells me he's done with me wants nothing to do with me, asks me to leave him alone. When I do, he calls me and just starts talking about whatever. Mostly stuff we are both intrested in (sports..etc) He knows I don't mind talking to him cause I still love him and want to work things out. He says we can still be JUST friends taht he doesn't want to date anyone. When we hang out we have fun but then he'll start making moves on me and says he loves me and wants us to work. The next day he'll be a cold hearted d*** and treat me like crap all over again. Then the circle starts all over again. When he tells me all these things he is very sincere and I think the crap part of all this is a sheild to protect himself from getting hurt again ( long story short he was cheated on by ex-fiancee) I think he really does love me but is unsure of trusting anyone again am I right or wrong. Please help me here!!!

Ive been talking to a girl I dated a couple of years back and had the pleasure of taking he out on a couple of dates over the last few months, but she is making it very difficult for me to pursue a relationship with her: She rarely answers my phone calls and takes about 1 day to 1 week to call me back. Under normal circumstances I wouldnt care but I really like this girl. I figure that if she really wanted to have nothing to do with me she wouldnt call back at all or at least tell me straight up. Next time she calls should I not pick up and call her back a few days later just to put the burn in her stomach, or pick up and play it cool, or ????? need help.

I am a big girl and have been witht his dude for 2 years. I use to be comfortable with taking all my clothes off when it came down to sex. Well, recently he asked me to ride him. I refused because i told him I will hurt you. (He is skinny!) ANyhow, now I refuse to take off my shirt during sex. I get uncomfortable. he gets mad when i don't takes it off. I am engaged to this really great guy. BUT everytime I see his pictures, I jump back, and feel scared. What the hell is that. We met through mutual friends and we had exchanged photos first. Well I had said no when I saw the pic, cause he scared me. But my friend convinced me to meet him ,I did and obviously we are doing well! BUT, is this a cause for concern? im 5 1/2 months pregnant, in the 1st trimester we had sex on a regualar basis, we also have two other children in the home that we focus on a lot through out the day and weekends so i know we are both exhuasted, but in the past this never stopped us from being intimate we were always into each other and spontaneous. i never nag my b/f i think it's pointless, but i did recently mention the fact that i dont have a sexlife anymore. so now he rubs on me and then to find him asleep 5 minutes later. there are other issues i noticed that have changed, im wondering if it's b/c im pregnant and he's turned off? or is he getting satisfied elsewhere and just dont want to hurt my feelings cause im knocked up..... My boyfriend is starting to be best mates wit my best mate, im not sure if it'll turn into more, he's more confortable with her, and he can talk to her more than he can with me, and generally really like eachother!

my previous question was exactly what the question states.. now for part 2, ok well first of all i am a school girl i am 17 years old the guy in question is 18 and in the grade above me.. he always use to stare at me (and still does) and today he said hi and said that his friend wanted a chip (that i was eating) then his other friend said i must ignore him and that i can carry on walking.. he spoke to me so that means something right? how can i get him to talk to me again??
