Watch out for feeling and emotions masquerading as "real" love. They can be fickle.

There is only one way of testing whether a relationship is real love or something else. That is a test of time. Real love is a mutual respect, and caring for each other that doesn't fall apart the first time a problem comes up.
Usually when a girl or guy says they are in love with someone, what it really means is that they would really miss having them around if they were suddenly not there. The only thing is, that once they aren't there, then the first person to take their place makes you forget the other.
Don't worry too much about what is or isn't love. Love is like a house, and you have to build it over time. It grows stronger as time goes by, because two people work for that closeness.
Forget about love at first sight. That is not the way it works. You may passionately desire someone at first sight, but you aren't going to love them cause you don't even know them.

You know it's real love when it is worth sacrificing everything for. With true love, you get to accept each other's qualities, good or bad. You are not only bonded by your similarities but also your differences. As a matter of fact, your differences must not come in love's way. Rather, it should enhance the relationship. Hope this helps.

i think you will know if it's real love after you've been with a person for a while (at least 6 months) and you've seen that person at different emotional stages (angry, happy, disappointed, etc). if you haven't seen the person deal with real life situations, i think it's infactuation or being in love with the idea of the person but not the real person

Do you mean say no if it's real love? The problem here is that women fall in this trap because women tend to give sex to be loved while men promise love to get sex. Be wiser.

I asked my boyfriend this and this is what he said. He said that he knew that I was his true love because he started to see a future for us. he began to think about me being there forever and he had never had thoughts about any girl like that before. He said after a while he couldn't imagine life without me. I knew he was my tru love because I wanted to please him in every aspect. I wanted to get things for him before he asked. I anticipated his every move and somethimes did things for him before he had a chance to ask. We are grateful to have found each other and honor each other daily because some people never open themselves up to true love.
