I'm currently attending med school and there's this guy in my class who I've been dating for the past 4 months. Well, I go up to talk to him at school today, and he totally ignores me and doesn't even look at me. And then he sends me this email "we need to talk." And then he comes over and dumps me. I have a twin sister who's also in the same class, and she told me not to start seeing him when I first started school a year ago, but he kept persuing me and I actually took a risk. I should have listened. I am really sad now and can't study or eat. I'm 22 and he's 24 and this was my first relationship. I am a Christian and don't believe in anything pre-marital but he sure does. He told me that he didn't have feelings for me when he broke up with me and that we weren't compatible. Do you think it was my personality? Do guys see good girls as boring? I feel really sick because I have to see him every day in class for the next year and it's really going to affect my studies.

There was this guy in HS i used to hang alot. He was/is a very nice person.He was there for me when I was dump by my 1st love.Than a new girl came to school and he started to hang with her or maybe like her I don't know.All I know is that it hurt me to see him with her.We even stoped talking because of this girl.And boy did I cry but never told anyone about it. I did wanted him to get a girl but not this one.I started hanging out with the girl and found out many bad things.Thats one of the biggest reason I didn't want him with her.(this happend around 2001).He married the girl because she got pregnant)Recently around 6 months ago I saw him at a video store.We both looked at each other for a while and I felt something in my tummy I can't explain.He didn't talk about his wife and I didn't talk about my husband.There was a shine in his eyes. I found out he got sepparated from his wife a while ago.But I didn't ask him about it.I love my husband but i don't know why i felt that day.

I am 17 and a virgin. The thing is I've had four boyfriends and three of them cheated on me. They slept with another girl. The fourth threatened to cheat if I didnt sleep with him. I at first thought that me being a virgin is something to be proud of, but it seems like that is why I keep getting hurt. I dont know what to do. I often hear that girls appreciate guys who "act themselves" but i whenever i try to be "myself", things dont work out like i would want them to. Is it also possible to try to act yourself so much that you actually act like someone else rather yourself?

I like really like him. And I don't know why at all, I haven't even really had a conversation with him before. TOO SHY. And everytime we see each other we like 'lock eyes' for like a few seconds but I don't know what to do after that, so I look away.
=( I'm to scared that if I smile back that he won't, I don't know what to dooooooooooooooooooooooo and its making me crazy. He might be only looking at me cause he thinks I'm ugly? Or hes interested in me or... I don't know! Guh. This is annoying, whats to do???

I have noticed that most girls would get mad if they like you after seeing you for the first time or, at least in the beginning. And you don't pay attention back to them, not because you don't like them but simply because you are preoccupied with other things and haven't noticed them yet. Why do girls always seem to be sad or even mad at this situation? Don't they understand that boys simply can't notice her immediately sometimes?

i just can't understand male's mind... i'm in love with a guy from my uni, but we don't know each other personally... he follows me around, always looks into my eyes, copies me, collides with me ''by chance'', always appear there where i am, but never comes up to me talking! and i'm sure he is not shy, he is too often surrounded with girls... and he is too attractive to be shy...and i can't make the first step, out of my rules, and i'm kinda afraid... and everything is so obvious and has been lasting for 2 years already! i just have no idea what's on his mind!

I'm 15, and he's 17. We share french together, and though he's quite shy, I've made an attempt to speak to him; today, I asked if he was taking any AP classes, and he said no, but that he would be taking 3. The only other time we've spoken is when my partner (in class) and I were discussing airplanes, and I mentioned that I had never been on one before. Jonah (that's my crush's name) overheard, and said, "You've NEVER been on a plane before? Not even camping?" I replied that I'd never been out of state before, and he says, "Wow."

Seeing as he's somewhat shy, it was more than I expected. When he talks, he looks me in the eye and smiles. Sometimes, he'll turn a little in his seat to watch me eat my lunch, or something. Am I analyzing him too much? If he never tries to make conversation with me, how do I know whether he likes me or not? Opinions much appreciated!

Crazy situation with a girl. Need advice.?

I met this girl at my university about a year ago and from her signals she is interested in me. When I asked her out, she rejected me and said she didn't have time for dating. A few days later, her friends told me that she got caught off guard and said no because she was nervous. So what should I do? Should I wait for her to talk to me or should I continue to pursue her? I don't want to seem like a stalker or anything like that.
If I don't do anything, will she think that I am not interested and move on? Thanks for you advice.

I've always felt as though I was different than other people. I've never had a friend in my life and constantly experience isolation from the outside world. I feel that this has everything to do with my appearance as I've had no luck meeting other guys my age in bars and clubs. (I'm a gay 26 year old guy)
I've been to a psychiatrist as well as a psychologist and social worker throughout the last few years in order to seek counseling and they have all said that I'm an attractive guy, yet that's only been said by medical professionals, so I have problems believing the source. They all have diagnosed me with Body Dysmorphic Disorder, but again what they say doesn't seem to relate to my personal experience with the outside world. This all makes me wonder if someone can experience happiness even if they're unattractive? Do you think it's possible to have a significant other and friends if you're not an attractive guy?

Funny Story. Yesterday I was on yahoo answers answering questions (using it for it's intent) when out of no where today I get this E-mail from some chick who apperently got hurt from my comment. The way I look at it is like this...if you come on here ask a question youre going to get all types of answers, and you have to pretty much deal with them regardless. I just think it's funny how this chick is so bitter by my comment.
