Singles & Dating - 9 May 2007

Ok well before I start I have to explain this...me and this kid John got accepted to be Ambassadors for our school and 18 people got accepted in all....3 of which are guys....anyways today in math we were using whiteboards and I was sitting by John and so we started writing stuff on our white boards...and this is what we wrote....(M=me J=John) J: There are only 3 guy ambassadors M=There are only 15 girl ambassadors J=Not enough??? M=Never enough J=Ha Ha Ha...then later...J=more chances for the guys M=?...after that he said "you won't get it...it's a guy thing"...what did he mean when he said "more chances for the guys"??? and is it possible that he was flirting with me???

how would you describe a really very beautiful girl that you know and is confident of her self, she knows you and likes you, though she never ever comes to say hi or open a conversation with you, although when you go and open a converasation with her she is really talkative and friendly and confident. whenever she feels am not intrested she uses body language to make me come and talk to her, she's really professional at body language.

IS IT ACTING HARD TO GET, OR WHAT DO YOU CALL THIS, and what is the SOLUTION....

i just can't understand male's mind... i'm in love with a guy from my uni, but we don't know each other personally... he follows me around, always looks into my eyes, copies me, collides with me ''by chance'', always appear there where i am, but never comes up to me talking! and i'm sure he is not shy, he is too often surrounded with girls... and he is too attractive to be shy...and i can't make the first step, out of my rules, and i'm kinda afraid... and everything is so obvious and has been lasting for 2 years already! i just have no idea what's on his mind!

who are anti contraception and anti abortion who see girls as nothing more then a walking womb once pregnant even in the first few weeks who care nothing for the females well being or fututre life, calling her a ****, whore, dirty, sinner.

Who if she has the kid is seen as a scrounger, who cant keep legs shut who deserves the consequences of her actions.


even when she only made love to the one guy who she thought loved her and would not have got pregnant with proper sex ed and contraception advice.


Or those who would make abortion illegal leading to the horros of back street abortion.


Or if a girl has several boyfriends as they dont work out spit in her face calling her a filthy whore etc.?

I truly love a girl and have told her my feeling last year, but she said she just wanna be friends. Since then we are still friends and I recall sometimes I would approach and talk to her, make her birthday card,.. But it worsens now.. I don't dare to talk to her at all and I seem to be cold in front of her. Whenever she passes by, I do not greet her or smile at her. And there is another boy who also likes her and he keeps trying to talk to her smiling. I think he has been keeping in touch with her using phone. This morning, he saw her and he offered to lend her DVDs, which she responded. I am really sad because I think and believe I have no more hopes. Moreover, her friends and she were talking about him (I think!! They were whispering and I think I heard his name) and she kind of showed her phone. I think it's like he wants them to do something. I don't know..
But, she seems shy in front of me, and … Back then I thought I have won her heart some time ago, but maybe I am wrong.

Please, if you were me, would you give up now and forget her at all? Is it too late for me to change? But I think I am the better person for her. He is more immature and is like a child, while I have got a reputation in my campus and hold many positions. Next year I will be nominated as the head of the Students Council.

I can't believe it. I have girls telling me that they prefer the average, skinny boy over athletes.
I don't know why girls find washboard abs, bulging biceps, square pecs, cannonball shoulders, iron bat forearms and nice V-shaped torso to be a turn-off.
Would you explain why do you find muscled men unattractive?

Me and my bf are in the middle of a long distance relationship. It's been more than 2 months we hadn't been together. But we talk everyday and it's been good. He have been working so hard to earn money just to come see me. Now he is coming all the way from the States to Japan to visit me. He said he made a lot of money so he could spend money for me. Hi guys and girls,
Boy am I confused. Here goes:
we split about 5 months ago after alot of screaming and shouting from him and lots of him needing space and storming out. It got so bad, I left when he threatened to throw me out. There was no contact for 3 weeks, then he asked if I wanted to talk. We spent a few days together -mainly good. Then no contact. This went on for 3 months and finally I gave up trying. Still love him but its just too difficult. Then he appeared back in my life just as I was getting back on the dating scheme. Said he wanted to rebuild the trust but seemed totally incapable of actually clarifying where I stood with him. He would get angry and storm off whenever I touched on the topic. So I carried on dating and met my current bf. A few weeks ago I bumped into my elusive ex while with my bf. My ex contacted me last week and said to ring him. Now I am worried its all a control thing and he will mess things up for me. Help?

After I actually left the job and the dust cleared, I thought I still had a choice to make, and started breaking up with my friend and got ready to commit to my long-distance friend. But, just at that instant, he began dating someone else. I was crushed, I felt my trust was crushed. He felt, I think, that I should be tolerant of what he was doing, because he had been tolerant of me. To me, though, this felt like the ultimate loss of trust, because my whole reason for not committing before was his youth and my uncertainty whether he would be able to commit.

I seriously don't get it. I have friends that continually go after the guy i would deem as assholes, they get hurt and come crying to me or another close friend. They don't realize what they deserve and how perfect they are just as they are without any changes. anything like that, but he is respectfull and has a decent car, fairly good job..and most importantly likes me for who I am and has not tried to make me into something or someone I am not..Yet my family and friends tell me that I am settling for someone who is beneath me..Merely because he is not physically fit...I say who cares, he makes me feel like I am on top of the world...If I don't care about his weight, why should they? I have lots of debts....
Turned down by universities that i have applied for my post grad...now start university hunting again....and afraid to hear the result again
My family business is in shaking boat...and i am one of the person responsible for it..
No time for myself to do my hobbies; read novel, write story, draw comic...


and...still single...never had boyfriend or been in any relationship...why this is matter? because i feel like i am carrying all the burden alone...feel like if i can share my problem to the person that i trust, maybe it will lessen the pain...
