Does she read? WalMart usually has a good selection of books so if she does enjoy reading, you can glance through some of her books to find types of reading or specific authors for whom to look. Houseplants are also nice to give as are Cd's of her favorite type of music. Something else you could do, that doesn't cost a thing, is to make your own personal certificate that says you'll wash her car or clean out the garage for her--something you know she would appreciate. I'm a mom between 40-49 and it sounds like the greatest gift of all is having someone like you as her kid! Take care.

If she's into gardening you might get her a cute new pair of gloves and a trowel, some mosquito repellant, a watering can and package them up nicely. They also have cute pjs , nice writing paper, lots of items if she scrapbooks. If she likes the sun, you could even go with some nice sunscreen, some cute flipflops and a big beach towel. Cute sunglasses and a great paperback for the beach? She may even be the type who would appreciate a gift certificate and a thoughtful card; then she can pick out her own gift. Hope these ideas helpl Even cheesy tees that say World's Best Mom are appreciated on Mother's Day.

To be honest I don't get mad if you need my idea. Well you need to get her a card for sure. Then if she likes chocolate buy her some. You can also buy her jewlery. A pair of ear rings or something like that. The best thing is to tell her that you love her no matter what day it is. Help her in whatever she need help on. I help my mom in the kitchen doing the dishes and like that's a big help for her because she has a back problem and she can't bend down. Well I hope that you get something valuabel and meaningful. Well good luck!!

Get her something which she needs ... Something she will always use and cherish. It will tell her u care abt her and listen to her needs ... just don't go for whatever is the fashion or your friend is gifting ... Incase nothing comes to mind then go for something hand made .. even a simple card made by you ...

A beautiful plant, a nice comfortable robe and matching slippers, and most importantly a card with special words about how much you love her, and why.
