my previous question was exactly what the question states.. now for part 2, ok well first of all i am a school girl i am 17 years old the guy in question is 18 and in the grade above me.. he always use to stare at me (and still does) and today he said hi and said that his friend wanted a chip (that i was eating) then his other friend said i must ignore him and that i can carry on walking.. he spoke to me so that means something right? how can i get him to talk to me again??

First of all, do a preliminary study: take a look in the mirror; Is there anything wrong with your face, hairstyle etc. :)
If not, maybe you are too pretty (hypothetically).
Then we will need an empirical test to prove this.
Methodology to be used: treat the subject with a 'hi' plus a 'smile' as a katalyst at random point where the proximity argument is read '1'.
Warning: Do not pour too many 'hi's and 'smile's cause the result can turn out bias and misleading.
If the subject responds with laughter -> leave the subject cause it may harm you
if the respond is an echo to treatment, then we may conclude with 85% confident level that you are indeed pretty, at least according to the subject
Whatever the result is, we can not give any policy prescriptions since it all depends on the will of policy maker to give it a go

Part 1 - Any decent guy (waves cheerily) has a 'conflict of interest' - we really LIKE to stare/look/peek at pretty girls. It's the most basic of impulses. But we don't want to have the girls think that is *all* we care about, so we try to avoid being 'caught' yielding to that basic impulse of 'staring'. Looking away could be positive, indicating respect for your feelings.
Part 2 - Talk to HIM. Most guys sooner or later figure out that it is the girl that makes all the choices, and so rather than risk being annoying, trying to 'chat up' a girl that's not interested, they may make a very *small* overture, ask to borrow a pen, or something harmless, and then see if the girl wants to talk more. The metaphorical ball is in your court. If he finds you pretty enough to stare at, and he's made any attempt to talk to you, then he's waiting to see if you want to talk back. Your choice. Your move.

Yes he does like you and is probably wandering if you like him as well. Next time you see him and he doesn't say any thing then you should say hi and then start talking with him about something simple and be friendly and confident. I am a guy and one thing most guys can't resist is a girl who is showing some kind of interest. Tell him you enjoyed talking and want to talk again soon. You dont need to get all the way friendly at first just show a liitle interest in him.

Just talk to him. Don't let opportunity pass you by...you may regret it later. Just start by saying hello to him when you pass by and smile. Then after a few days or so start a conversation with him about some general stuff. Maybe you could find out a topic he has a lot of knowledge in or has a lot of interest in and ask him a question about that....easy way to get him talking.

One reason he probably doing it because he likes you and maybe he didn't talked to you before is because hes either shy or nervous. When spoke to yes that means something. I personally think it means he wants to be friends with you or likes you alot. To talk to him just go up and say hi theres nothing wrong with that and maybe afterward you guys can talk some more without glancing at eachother.

Sounds like this guy really likes you but is too shy to bring it up. If you think he is worth your time you are going to have to talk to him privately away from his friends and express to him that you also have feelings for him. If you do that you'll find that he'll begin to open up to you more and more. If you do this you will have a nice 4 year run with this guy.

It's a simple and casual flirting method. I do it to when someone catches my eye.
For my part, I don't want him to catch me watching him, because I am sometimes shy and I am very insecure.
Play hard to get. You know that it's worth it if he will pursue you. I wish I was more like this. Guys, if they want it bad enough, they will follow and they will do what it takes to get what they want lol. This doesn't mean that you'll get married and live happily ever after though lol

Compliment him. I know girls love for that to happen to them but in your case I would say turn the tables and give a compliment. I know it might sound cheesy but say "thats a nice shirt" or "you have nice eyes". If all else fails just offer him some chips lol

very simple look he is shy so you go to him he used up all his curage going over to u and then he fogot what he was going to say he has a huge crush on you that is why he looks at you but when u look at him he turns because he doesnt want you to turn him down or think he is a creep
my advice is go get him pull him a side and plant one on his cheek let him know you are not going to turn him down by the he should be smilin

Yes, he likes you and doesn't know how to come to you and say anything - teenage shyness and awkardness. Speak to him the next time you see him and start a small converstation by asking him to walk you to class. Then you can find out if he has a gf, etc.
