Singles & Dating - 16 April 2007

I have been seeing this guy and it seems like every time I take the initiative and invite him to do something he starts acting shady...won't respond to messages. He was ok with it at first but more and more if I make a suggestion to do something he either completely ignores the offer or makes up some excuse. Is he really afraid of an independent woman? I've asked him to celebrate my new job...no response...I've asked him to celebrate me completing my MA degree...no response. So he's either intimidated by a woman like myself or maybe he's trying to tell me something else...any thoughts/suggestions??

Ok I don’t honestly see why I am still single. Is it the way I approach women I mean
I ask their name and introduce myself and shake their hand and talk is that not good enough
Im kinda getting impatient, I want someone now, my plan of go around the campus
And talk to every girl isent working. Some people say I look arrogant but im confident
In myself I just don’t see what the problem is. Someone like me should never be single
Not even for a minute. I mean what do I have to do advertise myself around, get butt naked and show off my package? Im a good person why in hell is everyone else getting with someone? And im not, their no better than me. What do I have to have a car or something to be taken in, or do I need money, or do I need to act like a jackass so I can be with someone, its not fair.

the guy i like happens to be best friends with my ex. the guy i like, used to like me, but no longer does "because of my ex bf". a friend of both of them told me that my ex and the guy i like talk about me at school.

Ok.....I REALLY like this girl......like, a lot, she doesnt know it even though its really obvious(saying ima make her her favorite cake and buying the biggist tub if her fav candy for her b day.......and also buying her the lil things like her favorite color of nail polish) but she just cant see it......just today she was all taking about this character that she liked....and i guess they made out for the first time in their life just the other day.....and..OMFG...you cant believe it..I WAS CRUSHED LIKE NO OTHER...i kinda broke down, to be honest....and i have no clue what i should do about it...should i tell her how i feel, tell her best friend(shes my good friend too) or leave her alone?...........PLEASE help a crushed 15 year old.

I met this girl two years ago and we became best friends.... Well, I ended up falling in love with her and she had a b/f.... A few weeks ago she broke up with him and came over to hang out with me and a couple of our friends. About a week later, she said we needed to talk and she asked how I felt about her dating my roommate..... I flipped, and we got into a huge argument that threatened our friendship.... A couple days later, I kinda got over it and told them to date. They still haven't but I keep telling them that I will be fine. One reason I'm pushing them is so that i will be hurt enought to only be friends with her. She says he makes her very happy and really that's all I want, is for her to be happy.... If this doesn't help me move on, what will? Do I have the right idea?

Ok its been a week since i have talked to my ex and i aint gonna lie its been hell not talking to him but im, trying to handle it as good as i can...On saturday i went over to my girl Toya's house to just chill out with her...My ex lives next door and he wasnt home at the time but he came home about 30 mins after i had gotton there...We was sitting outside cause she was doing my other girl tasha hair...Well when he pulled up my heart started racing and i got so nerves that my hands were sweating...He walked over just to see what we were all up too and he stood right beside me and said hi and was smiling at me alot...When my friend asked what type of bodys do he like on girls ...he just looked around and said i dunno and then she said what about Her's talkin about me and then his face turned red and he just smiled but didnt say anything...my question is do you think he came over there cause i was there and do you think he is still attracted and likes me?

okay so my parents HATE my boyfriend, a lot. they think he is like the scum of the earth and if he ever wants to come over again he has to have a "talk" with my DAD >:[ my boyfriend said he'd talk but idk is there any way to gain trust back in my mother from him?
because she can't stand him and we've broken tons of rules (at school and my house)...

From time to time my girlfriend of 5 months will tell a story about an old boyfriend. I haven't said anything to her, but it makes me uncomfortable and also makes me wonder why she is telling me about an old boyfriend. Is there some psychological reason she does this? I am 25 and a virgin, I have told guys in the past early on that this was the case and honestly I think it scaried them because its not something most people would think based on who I am.
I am just starting out with a guy who is older then me and I know has been in sexual realationships, I am fairly sure he has no idea i'm a virgin. should I tell him earlier, later or just when and if it comes up?
