How well do you know her? When/how did you ask her?
If she's someone you would see regularly, I'm thinking that she was saying that so she didn't hurt your feelings.
If she's just someone you met and would probably never see again, that's a very odd response. I guess she was suprised or something.

How did you ask her? Some men come acrossed very confident and she may think you only want to go out with her because of sex... OR maybe she is saying nothing could happen because she is seeing someone and she was interested in you... Beats me girls are weird... From time to time...

Thats actually a weird response. I've never heard that before. I would have either told her to forget it then, or found a way of getting out of it. She might think your gay which is why she thinks nothing will happen, but her loss. I wouldn't put up with that.

looks to me like she is not really interested. maybe she just wants to get back at someone or is looking for a free meal. be carefull sweetie, don't let her break your heart. find someone who appreciate u and really likes u. what ever happens after, will happen without coming to a conclusion ahead of time.

she's not that type of girl. she's giving you a chance to take her out and surprise her even though she isn't physically interested. take her out and show her your personality. see how it goes from that point
