I am 25 and a virgin, I have told guys in the past early on that this was the case and honestly I think it scaried them because its not something most people would think based on who I am.
I am just starting out with a guy who is older then me and I know has been in sexual realationships, I am fairly sure he has no idea i'm a virgin. should I tell him earlier, later or just when and if it comes up?

So the cases here are, you tell him and he...
1. Scampers (takes off). Well, at least you aren't wasting more time on him if he isn't comfortable with that.
2. He sticks around.

I think you should tell him.

first i would like to say i think it's great that your still a virgin at 25! ok now on to your question. Honestly I think a guy should know right off the bat. Reason being is some guys can't handle being with a virgin because then they know you don't "put out" and you'll find out if sex is the real reason he is with you (i don't know how the relationship is going so im just stating what ive noticed) Good luck

Bravo for being a virgin at 25. If you still plan to stay a virgin until you marry then this is what you tell them when that moment appears.

Wait till he makes his moves then couddle up to him and whisper in his ear--- I'm a virgin--- and can't do all this stuff because thats my belief system. He will have to take it in, and if your as sweet as he believes, he will respond sweetly. He will have to access if hes in it for sex graditification, he will have to respect your beliefs. He will have to like the other affection you give. Do you hug alot and lovingly give him little kisses. do you cuddle? Don't think these loving gestures are lost on a man because they firmly suggest future warmth and future good times await. It could be exciting--give that suggestion and share your spiritual life with him too.

hmm, i wonder why you'd think people will be scared off by you when you do say you're a virgin.

have you chosen to believe society's message that you MUST lose your virginity before marriage, and be sexually active to be cool?

that's nonsense in my opinion.

you should be proud that you are still a virgin before marriage... it does not show that you are a loser. but it implies, you are not willing to compromise on you principles.

don't worry yea? just tell him whenever you think the situation calls for it.

but if a guy (or anyone else) despises you cuz you say you're a virgin, then i wonder if such a friend really is your true friend...

cheers!
;)

I don't think there's any reason to tell him right away. I think you should wait until the relationship becomes more intimate, especially if you think he could possibly get scared when you tell him. If you wait until the relationship becomes a little more serious, and your feelings for one another have grown, there will be a better chance of him not getting scared after you tell him.

I don't know why the previous guys ran away. Maybe you are dating overgrown kids.

Wait till it comes up. There is no reason to bring it up, say in the middle of ordering ice cream.
