So my best friend has liked me ever since we've met. (we've known each other for about 3 yrs) I'm the first girl who's ever felt the same about him. He's the "shy boy" type so he values things more than the average guy. We're both mutual in the sense that we do want a relationship, we care and love each other but believe life is just too stressful right now. He doesn't wanna risk our friendship/relationship (in general) because of our history. He told me that he does want to be with me but it would be at a right time because he doesn't wanna screw it up - he wants it to be "long lasting", "real", and "serious"....

Even though we're not together now, does he really love and care for me? IS TIMING REALLY EVERYTHING? (especially when it comes to your best friend?)

it's pretty obvious that more younger guys are likely to attract women. i mean guys in their late teens and early 20s. the only thing that women like about older guys is the fact that they're older. girls in their early 20s and younger tend to find guys around their age most attractive, and guys too much older are less attractive. so do they expect me to believe that when a woman is around 30 she does a complete 180 and suddenly is not attracted to those young boys and is now attracted to guys her age? no, the truth is women not find guys around their age acceptible, but i believe that all of them would actually prefer a young 19 year old boy any day. of course, i'm talking about sexual attraction not relationships. why do women keep denying this?

I was on a date with a guy I really like and as we were getting out of the car, I had a horrible juicy bottom burp. This was 3 weeks ago. He hasn't called yet. What do I do? Do you think he forgot about my "near explosion"? Please help.

My boyfriend is not that smart, sometimes I feel like I have to explain things over and over again! There is a lot more things he does that I absolutly hate. Should he try to change some of things to make me happy, or should I accept him for who he is and deal with it? What do you think?

So My best friend in the world/roommate recently started dating a family member of mine. He's the only member of my family that I get along with and i'm totally thrilled about it. But this week he had to go out of town.
Last night our mutual friend came over to hang out as he often does. He was acting unusually for most of the night and I realized he's developed a crush on my roommate(who he's only known about a week). I didn't think it was a big deal and just laughed it off. I let my friend know to make sure she didn't encourage him unduely because she's a bit of a flirt. So last night I went to bed before our friend left because I had to work in the morning.
This morning I woke up to find them snuggled up in my friends bed together. I'm sure they didn't sleep together but I'm still very upset at her for betraying my family members trust.
I have no idea what the hell I"m supposed to do in this situation. . . . HELP

So my boyfriend and I took a vacation to visit an old friend of his. When we got there his friend barely talked to me at all, and when he did it was more like he was questioning me about my relationship with flat out disapproval. His views were incrediably sexist (he had a recent messy break up) and he would always say "no offence" and then say something increadiably offencive. "No offence, but a woman's place is in the kitchen" "No offence but all women are after is a guy's money" It totally ruined my vacation. I am not a clingy girl but we have a very close relationship. When my bf and his friend had a chance to talk when I wasn't there, the guy basically told him that he should dump me, and that our relationship is only going to hurt him. Of course my bf told me what he said right away, but he's too much of a nice guy to just give up on a friend like that. The guy still calls all the time. We have plans of getting married in the future, what if we have to invite him?

Dose he like me or what?

occassionally, i complain about my weight... i need to gain some... my bf however, doesn't agree. the reason i complain is because i'm only 107lbs and i see how he checks out girls with a little more curves and i want that... i mean don't get me wrong i have small curves... more so on my as.s region than upper.

is he telling me i look fine to just tell me what i want to hear or does he really not care how i look???

I'm 26 and very rarely approached by men. I have been told that I'm cute and dress well. I am intelligent and have a sense of humor. Also a big sports fan. Usually when I'm out with friends I am having a good time so its not like I am acting like a b****. The only reason I have a problem approaching them is I am shy unless I realize there is actually interest there. Then its not a problem. What is going on? It seems like whenever a guy is interested in me he is arrogant and thinks he is god's gift. I can be happy being single, it is just one of these days I would like to find someone special.

I'm a gay male college student, and the last few times I've gone out to parties on campus I've ended up talking to / flirting with this guy. This most recently happened Saturday night. Last night (Sunday) he sent me an e-mail asking me if I wanted to have dinner on Thursday. I plan to say yes, but what is the appropriate amount of time to wait before replying?

In the movie, "Just Friends" there'a scene near the end where chris was talking about how he could have "scored" with jamie. He said it was "bad timing" and he couldn't just do it because he didn't know what was going to happen - he move back to new jersey or she move to LA? and he couldn't do it because jamie wasn't just a girl...they had history, they're best friends....

I'm going through the same thing the situation between me and my best friend is just like in the movie. My best friend has liked since the first time we've met and i've fallen for him but doesn't want a relationship right now b/c it's "bad timing" - he wants something in the future with me according to him that's "long lasting and real" - i don't think he wants to throw away all our history...

Is he scared of ruining our relationship? Does he want to save the relationship for when it's right? Can someone explain it to me?

My daughter seems scared to initiate friendships. Although she is beautiful and dresses in a stylish way, she is convinced that boys find her to be ugly. She is an honors student and earns straight A's. She tends to take things very seriously. She spends most of her free time studying and doing chores. I want her to get out a little and have some fun. Ideas?
