what do you guys think about living with someone before marrage?

Personally, I think it's a good idea.
Sure it's risky, but if living together is risky, what does that say about marraige??!
Find out if you're compatible in a living situation. It takes it to the next level without getting married and then at least you can find out if you're going to actually be alright before tying the knot.
Trust me, I've seen it ruin relationships AND foster them.
Seems to be the modern way to figure out if it's legit imho.

living together before marriage is problematic. do not listen to people who say it is the only way to be sure or you dont know until you try it out blah blah blah. IT DOES NOT WORK!!!!! by grandparents both were married for over 50 years, one 67 years! they did not live together neither. my aunt and uncle have been married over 30 years. they did not live together. my mom and dad 12 years, divorce, they DID live together. my dad second marriage now going on 14 years, they did not live together. I was married two times and both divorce. and guess what we lived together before. my bother is almost 5 five years. they did not, cousins 13, yrs another 4, yrs both of them did not live together. another cousin 2yrs, divorce,another 7 yrs divorce they both lived together. my neighbors 37yrs not lived together, three Friends average 5yrs before they all divorce, they all lived together.
go ahead and do your own research. and you will find out MOST as in more than 70% of divorce happens in people who lived together. there are exceptions of course but in they are not the norm. living together is very problematic, living close to each other seems the best (down the street, same apartment complex/building, next door...)

Could be a bad ideal. What if you break up? Then you have to deal with the hassle of moving again. You don't have to live together to get to know each other before marriage.

i think it's the next logical step in a relationship to move in together and see how it works out before rushing off and getting married i mean lets face it you don't really know someone till you live with them for a month or two

Good question. I've heard its good so you get to know the actual person before you marry them and that can help you decide whether you can spend the rest of your life with them.

I think it is a good idea. Living with them help you see the real them. I plan to live with my girlfriend before we get married. I Think its a good idea!!!!

i think it a good idea you get to know the person really well and you get to see if you guys can actually live together once you get married, but be careful if you live to long togetehr you might nto end up gettign married at all...

If you never live together, you'll never know how it'll be until after marriage, then if you hate living with them, you're stuck.
