my situation hi im 17 and the problem is iv never been on a date before and never had a serious girlfriend

look before you think looser im definatley not i have a job i urn money , im not a work freek though
i have talked to friends about this but they dont understand i feel like im missing the boat you know im getting really deppressed im seeing friends kissing their girl and all that and i think what about me

im not a bad looking guy or so im told but i already have loads of real tattooes that are visible i have full sleve tattooes already i spend all my spare money on them i love em they are taistfull tats

do girls my age find them attractive or even sexy or are they my problem and should i wear long sleved tops

i dont get shy or anything around girls i just havent found the write one worth holding on to

why am i not getting a girl i am trying ???what am i doing wrong

Ok so my girl broke up with me about a month ago and she refused to talk to me for almost 3 weeks. Then I go apologize to her and she says its her that should be sorry but she still doesn't want to be together. Now when I see her she's being all friendly again. What the hell is going on?

This was a huge step for this guy. And she wouldn't give him a yes or no answer. And then she would not answer his calls, just let the machine take his messages.

Why be so cruel? Doesn't even the most inappropriate guy deserve the kindness of a yes or no answer? Why would a girl in her late 20's do this? I really like her, I don't understand why she would be that way.

This may be the last time my friend asks anyone out.

This girl is in love and you can tell it makes her stupid. I hate it when love becomes hero worship and idealization. Why can't we be mature and realistic in a relationship?

Hi. I've been dating a girl I met online for 2 months, every weekend, and we always have a great time! She keeps talking about many future dates, expresses how much fun she has, and the dates always end with a few long passionate kisses. So all is great, but my friend see's that she's very active daily on the website I met her on...I am not so much. In some cases, logging on 15 minutes after I leave after an all day date.
Am I being paranoid or is something strange here? I plan to have a "what do we each want" talk in the coming week (not mentioning the website of course), but interested in any thoughts. THANKS!

im pissed off at my b/f atm cuz we're going thru a possible pregnacy and a possible miscarriage and im in need of his support. so we're talking online tonight and he wants to get offline to get some sleep for work at 5. and this is the worst time for him to leave me cuz im freakin out and we're discussing this, and i was telling him that he shouldnt go to bed right now. he decides to just say goodnight away. im trying to reason w/ him and after a lil bit of whining that he was tired, he just signed off and went to bed anyway. do i have a right to be mad or am i in the wrong?? also, i told him he was being selfish so i was gonna give him the week to be selfish and that i didnt want to hear from him. too harsh or did he have it comin'?

We've been together since June 2006. In early December, I found out he had messed about twice with his ex-girlfriend. He didn't tell me, she emailed me! I forgave him and we decided to work past it. Now I've found out that in January, he slept with a close friend from work a few times, she even stayed over with him twice. Again he didn't tell me, I found out from her.

He said he isn't this person and doesn't know why he's doing this, he's confused and doesn't know what he wants and needs time. I've said what he's done is disrespectful and wrong and I couldn't take anymore from him. That because of his behaviour that he's given up any 'rights' to tell me he needs space/time. Either he wants to be with me and work at it or we call it a day. He said he felt cornered and that he was forced to make a decision and I said if that was the way he felt then it was time to finish things. But he's insistent he wants to work on things, he doesn't want me to leave him.

I don't know what to do

I broke up with a gal after she cheated on me.

Afterwards, I wanted nothing to do with her, but we lived in the same town. I honestly only gave the facts when asked by friends “what happened?” and saw no interest in blasting her. but we have some mutual friends and it makes things awkward when at gatherings. But then friends now come out with true (really true) “secrets” of things that happened while she and I were together.. so my questions are

1. How do you act towards an ex-partner (due to betrayal) when situations come up when you have to be near them?

and 2. How do you react to friends who kept these “secrets” from you when you should have been told?
