when it time to end a friendship?

I have a friend who lies all the time about everything. it didnt bother me until she started to on me and about me. she doesnt know I am on to her. I have just stop talking to her all together, yet she still contacts through email and text message. what should I do?

I have a friend just like that...and it was hard for me to find out that she was like that...especially when we were supposed to be good friends. I decided that I couldn't even be bothered with a confrontation because it would prove nothing and just leave me in a nastier situation. So now we see eachother every so often and she texts...but I don't tell her anything I don't want her to know...at all. If she asks I just don't answer. She got the message pretty quick...and I think that she knew I was onto her aswell. Don't make it nasty...just back away quietly and she will get the message.

Friendship has no end, once a friend always a friend. If your friend lies to you always, even if you have a bad feeling for her, don't trash her. You can avoid talking about things to her, but just let her be your friend. She can't fool you if she lies, afterall you have nothing to lose isn't it? Dumping a friend will not make you feel comfortable take note of that. Who knows, that by being always good to her, someday she will realize it and that's the turning point when she wants to change. Will you not be glad that such a kind of friend changes into a better worth of person because of you?

actually, the in person-friendly words reason i'd end a friendship is lack of actual appreciate. My associates and that i have been via lots and continuously remained associates even into adulthood yet those days my buddy instructed me she didnt have anymore room for anymore associates, thats her call no longer mine. yet even my buddy virtually were given me in hassle with the regulation I loved her besides. Heck, i'm associates with my ex husband I cheated on and my present day boyfriends 2 exes formerly me, I in simple terms dont waste time in judgement

Tell her how betrayed you feel and let her explain herself, she may be a compulsive liar who cannot help herself and doesnt reallise she is doing it.
Let her know how upset you and others are about her persistent lying. Give her another chance and if all else fails change your number and Email address.

ok, well i dont know how old you are so our senerios are probobly different, but, i would say when you can't trust someone anymore, when you start realising that you deserve better then beign treated like that.

basically like you are now, sorry to deliver bad news =(. I'm in the same situation if it makes a difference. LOL.

I think you should speak to her, if you value her friendship then talk to her and ask her why she is lying like this.

If you don't value the friendship then tell her you want to end things but either way, just be honest.

When you begin asking yourself this question is time enough for me. How can you trust a liar and who wants a friend they can't trust?

write her letter explaining why you no longer wish to be friends and give her a chance to put it right, maybe shes insecure so she feels the need to make her life sound better than it is

You can continue the way you are going or you can be honest with her and tell her why you have distanced yourself. Sometimes if you aren't honest with someone, they never really don't get the clue.

as friends we should talk about the problem we have...
let her know, tell her what u feel, just be careful not to exaggerate it, give her chance to explain also....
there is possibility that she has some problems also....
