As a girl i go for a guy with great personality.Looks are secondary.

It seems morally right to go for someone who has a good personality, although I would say that most people are going to be interested someone for their looks. I'd say for a person to try to go out with someone for their personality yet to feel some sort of physical attaction to that person because other wise it could lead to cheating which is not good. I know this sounds weird but go for someone who you think is fun to be around yet you are p\physically attracted to also. But the personally should come first.

looks usually help build a personality. guys who are use to getting girls because of looks usually feel entitled to better, or multiple, partners. i guess looks shape the feedback you get from other people. that feedback is then internalized, and becomes part of the individuals character traits. also, looks give away what interests that persona has, and if they have any fashion sense. people are too quick to write off looks because they want to make it out like we are all equal. personally, i'm not very attractive, i know other people are more, and i dont have much confidience. personality is very important, but it wooks hand in hand with looks and vice versa.

Personality only if you want a very short dead-end relationship.
For a lasting relationship, you need both for sure. Sex appeal is a big part of a relationship, even if you practise abstinence. If you don't have attraction for the person, you might as well be dating a gay guy.

Both. I think you have to be physically attracted to someone first. As much as we hate to admit it most of the time when we are initially interested in someone it is because of what we see. You also need personality though because who wants to be with someone really great looking that is boring.

Lets face it, physical attraction is what initiates contact or atleast interest. But there are several people that are quite attractive on the outside, but ugly on the inside. The inside is what really counts. That makes the person, and dictates how they act and will treat you/value you. Looks are important, but in my opinion, the inside is what really makes the person complete.

Personality. And it goes for both genders.
You can gain weight, lose weight, get surgery, dye your hair, but when you're old, it doesn't matter. What's there is you, not your looks.
A cool girl/guy... they're the eternal hottness.

If you like looks, then go for it. Then sort through the "lookers" for personality.
No one keeps their looks forever, but personalities stay the same.

i'll admitt, looks get my attention but if he doesn't bring personality, then NO - i want a guy with both.
