Singles & Dating - 27 December 2006

This guy that I've been dating for about a month now has got me boggled.. He's 29, I'm 26. Things are great and yes we've been intimate. He then invites me to an exclusive Xmas eve family dinner.. I decide to go and Xmas eve I show up w/ his gift (nice sweater) and he puts it aside.. Finally, I ask.."Aren't you going to see what it is?", so he does, and he likes it.. he then proceeds to tell me that he left my gift at home so I'll have to wait. He seemed embrssd. I'm frustrated but I don't say anything.. then he goes on to say that he had 2 things in mind but that he might go back to exchange the gift he got me for another. But he brought all of his gifts for the fam. I meet his entire fam and they are great and they feel the same way about me. His sis even pointed out that I'm the 1st grl he's ever brght and he must really like me. Since Xmas, I haven't heard from him. 0. It's been 2 days. What's his deal? Why hasn't he even contacted me to say hi?? We usually at least txt 1x/day.

My boyfriend will not call me. But at school he is so nice and we sit together and everything, and when I ask him to call me he says " I will, I got you #" What do I do? Does he not like me? Or is it that I got to give him time? We have been going out for a week now and all of my other friends boyfriends call them? !!!!HELP!!!!!
Ohhh....... and I am only 13 so I need good advice...enough for a teen to handle. You now what I mean????

My boyfriend & I have no relationship problems, but I'm an only child whose parents don't speak English and my boyfriend does not speak my parents' language. My parents are upset and disappointed that I am with someone who can't communicate with them. They say that my choosing him without first consulting them undermines their reason for moving to the US and all the sacrifices they've made for me. They've lost sleep over this and they say that I have more choice in this situation than they do. I'm young and can choose someone else to be with, but they have only me as their child. I have taught my boyfriend some things to say, but it's hard for me to ask him to learn more. They also say that the fact that both his parents are divorcees is a red flag. I've even considered breaking up because I want my future husband and parents to have a good relationship with each other. My parents and my boyfriend deserve happiness and fulfillment in their lives. Your thoughts? Any help is appreciated!

Just so you guys know she was coming on to me first. And I started to like her. Well here's the drama enjoy :(
We are coworkers and I gave her a nice compliment saying I enjoy being around her. She said "that's so sweet." So as I left she went and asked one of my coworker friends if I had a crush on her. My friend said yes. She said well I think he's cute. My friend told me she thinks i'm cute so I went and told her that I have a crush on her. She said "that's so sweet. She gave me a hug and after we hug I told her I would of told her sooner, but you have a boyfriend. She didn't say anything about that really. So the next day she starts to flirt a lilttle. I didn't flirt back because she has a boyfriend.I gave this girl this note well here's what it said When we first talk and after the conversation was over I started to like you. So everytime when you talk to me I get butterflies and feel tigly inside. Also when we make eye contact I get nervous. That's why you see me not making too much eye contact with you. I enjoy your company. I still have a crush on you.When you told me you might get another job I was sad. You're such a sweet,kind, and caring person. Your very pretty.You have such a beautiful smile and it makes me smile too. You have pretty eyes. I can't stop thinking about you. Your always on my mind. If you don't like me the way I like you. I'll understand and we can just be friends. When I gave her the note she didn't read it in front of me she read it in away from me. She show all her co-worker friends the note and told them I like her. She never said anything about the note to me. When I saw her again I ignore her. She thought I lost interest in her so she said "You don't like me anymore" and walk away fast and look back at me and smile at me. She knows I still like her, but she has a boyfriend. We are co-workers and her boyfriend makes her come into work crying sometimes. I don't know why she stays with him, but she does. On Christmas Eve I gave her a $30.00 statue glass angel. I told her friend that the angel cost $30.00 and I guess her friend told her and I guess she freak out and told the manager about the situation. She told the manager that I like her and treat her different than other girl employees. And she also said to him that she just wants to be friends with me. She did keep the angel she just told her boyfriend that it was from a girl at work. She told that to my friend and my friend told me. I seen her today at work and she was freak out. She didn't want to be near me. She was pretty scared to go near me. I ignore her and didn't look at her or talk to her. She did the same. I know you guys are going to think i'm a loser for buying a $30.00 gift for a girl who has a boyfriend. I need advice about this situation. Do you think she likes me or not?

My ex bf was the one who dumped me, so I was really shocked when he told me that he wants to see me and "meet up". He called me, and planned the whole thing (a movie). I assumed there would be coffee afterwards since after one year I thought he wanted to really talk & catch up. He picked up, but he never opened any doors for me, he walked ahead of me, & after the movie he just drove me home. He never walked me to my door & just said "merry Christmas". He never tried to even hug me so I just shook his hand & said bye. I felt like trash after the date, he treated me bad, like s**t. He would open doors & walk me to my door when we were going out, but I thought he would be a gentlemen again cuz of all the effort he put in to set up this date, by calling & picking me up. I thought after the movie, we would have coffee and that he would say either 1) I want u back, or 2) I wanna be friends. I thought #2 is what he would say. Neither of this happened. WHY did he do that & treat me like that?

My boyfriend who i am absolutly in love with and want to marrie gets in these moods sometime where he is afraid that i am going to find someone else. He likes to drink. But it has gotten to the point, that he spends more time with the guys drinking all the time. We don't ever go out anymore, and he's never home. Not that he is far, cause he is normally next door, or down the street. But I feel like he has no time for me, or our kids. He even ignores his own son when hes here. He would rather be drinking. What can I do? I have tried to talk to him, and that works for a short time.

I feel like I'm over him but a friend thinks I'm going to want him back. I'll admit we dated 2 1/2 years, and after a little while I did want him back. I feel like I'm over him. We are keeping in touch a tiny bit as friends, mostly because I'm friends with his sister. I am repeatly saying I'm over him, and he still is roaming around in my head, but I don't think my heart. I'll will also admit we had a good relationship. What are the chances of wanting a ex back if you dated that long? Is it bad to be friends with them? I NEED HELP I DON'T KNOW WHAT HURTS MORE. I DID NOT FEEL I HAD TO TELL MY EX I HAD BEEN WITH OTHER PEOPLE WHEN WE WERE NOT TOGHETER HE ASKED I SAID NO THINKING THAT IF HE KNEW HE WOULD BE HURT SINCE HE WAS SO MACHO, MY FIRST. I DID ALL TESTS BEFORE GOING BACK WITH HIM EVERYTHING NEGATIVE. A YEAR LATER I TESTED POSITIVE TO HERPES HE WAS NEGATIVE. I TOLD HIM I WAS WITH SOMEONE DURING OUR TIME APART HE WAS SO UPSET. BUT SAID HE WOULD STAY WITH ME WHEN HE FOUND OUT HIS RESULTS WERE - HE HAD SEX WITH ME AND THEN SAID EVRYTHING WAS TOO MUCH FOR HIM DROPPED ME OFF AND BROKE UP WITH ME. HONEST TO GOD IS THE FIRST TIME I HAD LIED TO HIM IN 4 YEARS OF RELATIONSHIP AND HE DIDN NOT SEE THAT. HE HAD LIED TO ME SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE. there's this guy who I go to school with who message me on myspace and we started talking on AIM. we hung out like 5 times and kissed and then after the last time he doesn't really talk to me anymore but he had asked me on AIM who I liked and I said him and I asked him and he said me but I don't know what to take of it because as I said he stopped talking to me and I don't if he likes me or was just playing me.

I have been with my boyfriend for nine years now and we have never really matched up sexually. I do not find myself drawn to him physically/sexually and never really have. In the beginning of the relationship we had sex often but I never really got any pleasure out of it because he just didn't seem that knowledgable... and had no interest in learning how to please me. Our sex life has been horrible for the past 5 years, yet we've stayed together. He used pornography instead of having sex with me and even cheated once. I have stayed because I think I was afraid to be alone and because I really love him like a friend and didn't want to lose him completely. We now have an infant son (a unexpected surprise) and I have been trying to make it work... but I am not happy. I have a high sex drive but no interest in him. I get depressed when I think of marrying/spending the rest of my life with him... sexually unsatisfied. Has anyone sparked a flame that was never there to start?

I have a crush no my friend and i told her which made her act really weird in front of me. She even started ignorin me sometimes. I feared that i may lose my friendship wit her so i told her that i was confused and i never really liked her. This made her cool down and now shes actin normal wit me again, but the thing is that i still like her.
