Singles & Dating - 27 December 2006

I am dating a guy who is divorced with four children who live in a different state. Every month he sees them for a week. Whenever he is with the children he barely calls and tells me he is really busy with the kids. He may send a quick e-mail and say how busy he is and will talk to me later so I don't bother calling him. Does this sound odd?? Or is it logical that one guy taking care of four small children would be so busy that he chooses to wait a week or two to contact his girlfriend? I have discussed it with him and he just says that when he is with the kids he is running around crazy all day and is exhausted at night.

i wanna ask out this 7th grader and im in the 8th grade. hes on my bus and thats usually one time i always see him. how should i ask him out without scaring him? lol...should i write him a note or do it in person...like go up to where hes sitting and ask him? give me any idea you have. it will help a lot!

there is a girl that i think i can win if i ask her to dance with me on her birthday (her family likes me and i think she likes me also... they are going to set up a surprise) She is elegant and wonderful in so many ways...

ok ... Im dating this Virgo guy guy for a month . I tell you he's the sweetest guy ever... until one day, he stopped calling me. So being a girl who follows the dating rules, I went on with my life even if I really like him to death! In other words I didn't even call him . 2 weeks had passed and I got a flower at work from him. telling me he really felt bad for not calling me and he wants to hang out coz he really felt bad. then I never heard from him again... it's been a week and I don't want to make a move by calling him. my question is:
Is he being a Virgo?(he fits the typical signs)
is he being immature? (Im 8 years older than him) he's 21 and Im 29
is he being a jerk!?
should I I confront him? should I just ignore him? I mean I date other people but I really like him I dunno I guess Im confused!

My ex fiance and I broke up in June, it was ugly, he met someone in oct and was engaged two weeks later. He has been very mean and hateful ever since our breakup, he has said the cruelest things about me and even refused me to see his daughters (6 & 8) which really hurt them. I have stayed away, but the girls still call, they live with their mom 2 hrs away. Xmas eve they called they wanted to see me, their mom said yes, but i said not unless the dad agrees, he always forbid it before, but he agreed this time, he got a dui recently maybe that turned him nice, he agreed to let me go get them and see them, he was even nice and thanked me, he is nice to me at work now too, i know his fiance now hates me, and she doesn't like him near me, my interest is the girls, they love me and i love them, do i get close to them again, or is he going to turn on me again, why is he suddenly so nice, he has been with her since oct, she hates me, why is he being nice now, should i talk to him.

i think this chic im friends with is kind of weird, she sends me the most mixed messages, we talk in person and have a cute chemistry, then we talk on instant messaging and its good and funny and cutesy , but today for some reason she is in a really weird mood, and is hardly talking to me the way she usually does and blocked me without telling me, i checked by going on another screename to see if she really did block me, and she did, whats this chics problem? mixed messages or what>?

my boyfriend and i have been together for almost 4 years and still really in love but he has lost his sex drive. it has gone from 3 times a week to 3 times a month if i am lucky. he is a mechanic and says he is really tired but could there be something wrong with him? I dont know what to do. I know that I dont love my exboyfriend he was my first love. The first guy who I fell very very hard for but its like every time I see him I start to cry. Every time one of my firiends mentions him I still remember the way he would hold on to me and never would let go. he was always there for me when I needed someone. My bestfreind's girlfreind is annoying me. I think she likes me and I tell her to quit calling and trying to flirt with me. She saying some weird stuff to me. The love one and am IN love with another. The one I love loves me, trust me, is stable and would make the most sense. The other I am IN LOVE with, he makes me feel alive, but we've tried now for two years and can't seem to get it right, but through it ALL I have never stopped loving him even though I have tried. Thursday, My mother's best friend of 27 years and her 15 year old daughter are coming to stay with us. The daughter's gorgeous, and I think she likes me. Why? Because she wasn't going to come unless I was there.
Well, I'm out of town, with my father on visitation, and might not get back until saturday, which is quite gay, considering they're probobly leaving monday, which, all in all, limits my time with her.
And the house is like this, we just moved there.
3 Bed rooms, one is used for storage, master bed room, and my room.
If people come to stay, I stay in the living room.
So, I'm thinking The best friend will stay in my room, and the girl and I will be in the living room.
And I wanna get as far as I can, without making her uncomfortable, and I would like to begin a relationship, we're only about 5 hours away, and I'm in her town every weekend.
What do you suggest?

So I made plans with my girls to go out and celebrate together.

I dont know if any of you watch the first 48 on A&E. But its this detective on the show that I have a major crush on. I've been contemplating on getting in touch with him. when turned 16 last year i was old enough to date, so far i've had only one boyfriend, but i broke up with him after two weeks because he was boring. Ever since then i've had trouble with finding a guy that i like who likes me back. It's always either they like me but i don't like them or i like them and they just want to be friends with me. How long should I wait???
I've been with my boyfriend for five years. We are both young professionals (early thrities). At first, I didnt' want a family. I have changed my mind. He hasn't. I don't want to leave him. However... I want to get married and start a family. He doesn't. I can't picture myself with anyone else, and I certainly don't want to see him with anyone else, either. I feel like I am wasting years. I trust him completely. We have a great relationship, but I want more. I've been feeling this way for the last year or so... If he doesn't budge, when should I give up and move on?
