I am divorced and was chatting online with a friend of my ex (divorced for over a year). She didn't know it was me at first. She even told me that I was the type she was looking for, UNTIL she found out who I was (I told her). She said she could never violate her friendship with my ex even though they rarely even talk anymore, less than once a year. Why can't you date an ex of a friend?

its against our code.....now some people can.....but they are not true friends........if your ex told this woman that you would be perfect for her, then she would have permission to date you and it would be ok.......are you sure its not because she knows you personally.....or does she only know of you, not know you personally?
