I really like this guy and I already tried telling him that i liked him and he seemed to like that but then he didn't he suddenly just stopped liking the attention. Do guys like it if you just tell them straight forward that you like them or if you play hard to get and flirt a little?

This is a challenge for all of us because not all guys are the same. Some DO like a girl that is straight forward, while others don't.
There are a lot of guys who prefer the "Hard to get" type girl and prefer to pursue the girl instead of being pursued.
The only way to find out is to test the guy.
Give him a compliment and see how he reacts. If he gushes and blushes or acts really eager to hear more, then he would probably like it if you pursued him.
If he just says "Thanks", and doesn't ask any questions about your compliment, he probably prefers to go after the girl and not the other way around.

I know a lot of men who like to play games and others that like a straightforward girl.
You need to suss them out pretty quick so you know what type your dealing with.
Never tell them how you feel early in a relationship, it can be a bit too much for some guys.

If a guy finds you attractive, he won't mind you being straight forward with him.
It depends on the guy. Some guys like to chase after girls while others don't. I would say the majority of us hate to chase.

Most guys like it straight up. Seriously though tell the guy how you feel. A major complaint about woman is that guys always are guessing how to please them. There is also the real danger of missed opportunities.

Honesty works best. Just do not be overbearing or stalker babe. If you and a guy are "talking" and he seems interested, just let him know that you enjoy his company. If he is funny, let him know "I always laugh so much when I am with you" Hard to get almost never gets got, but for a guy "easy might be sleazy". Just be you and understand that if he likes you he will let you know. If it is "just friends" do not push it!

Its great when a girl tells you flat out that she likes you because it rarely happens! Most girls play coy and it can be really annoying, especially when you like the girl and want to know what she thinks. So let him know! Communication is key!

Depends if you prefer the hunt or the catch. I'm more intrigued by girls who are hard to get. But if they play too hard to get, I lose interest.

Definitely hard to get. In fact, IMPOSSIBLE to get. Guys try harder if they think of the woman as a challenge. It makes their competitive side pop out. If the girl is straight up about her feelings, they think of her as needy and lose interest.
