I am just curious to know what others(women can answer) think because my ex-boyfriend always seemed to want to teach me how to cook. We would go out on regular dates but then he would want to spend time showing me how to make a meal.(BTW, I'm not complaining) I guess I am at a disadvantage because I can't cook to save my life.(I really can't even cook an egg let alone rice).

IF you dont know someone and you really like them, how to you express that to them without talking to them? Do you stare at them, smile, flirt? OR what if you knew that person and dont talk to them anymore and you see them again and suddenly you start to have feelings for them How do you show them that you like them, without saying so?

Read about this on the web. The article was pointing how guys were starting to suffer the same problem as women have for sleeping around a lot. Wondered what people here thought about it.

What was the first song you and your current significant other danced to? Also, where was it? A party, a bar?

Mine was Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton in a bar on Halloween of this year. Just curious to see what everyone elses was/is!

This is a long distance relationship (it will be like this for a year) But we kind of told each other that we would be friends very good friends while I was away... And we never said to each other the "i love u" phrase.
Ok when I left he gave me a letter, I very nice and sweet letter saying how he would never forget me and that I'm the only one who could ever make him feel like this... etc (it's very personal). And he ended with a : LOVE and then the nickname I have for him.
On christmas I sent him an ecard ending it the same way...

Does the word LOVE mean anything without an I and U before and after????
Then is it ok or would you freak If I say LOVE and then my name??

Like you and know you like them and will flirt so much but then act like you will never have a chance?

I know this is a pointless question but honestly if they like you why not act on it?

Is it best to forget and move on? Or to open the "can of worms" to honestly, rehash what you know; to feel "closer" or should you just let it go?

This guy I've been seeing once or twice a week for the past 3 months left town to go visit his family for the holidays. He left last Saturday and won't be back for two weeks. He said he'll call me when he comes back. But I'm concerned for the fact he doesn't even drop me a line while he is gone. Am I supposed to wait for two weeks till I hear from him again? I think if he liked me enough, he would want to contact me. Am I asking for too much? Should I just drop him if he does not contact me while he's away?

I'm totally in love with my American "girl" friend & over Christmas discovered she's as crazy about me as i am her. She's gone home to the US for New Year & won't be back til January. She's only gone 30 hours & i'm missing her already.
Trouble is her work keeps her in the States for a while every so often.Since we've now found out we love each other i really want to make this work.To say i adore her is an under-statement.Is anyone out there who is keeping a long-distance romance going successfully?
I'll likely end up moving to the US if it means us to be together. But for now i have to make do with this trans-Atlantic thing. She's from Georgia & i'm stuck here in Britain. Can someone give me any advice on how to keep this relationship going successfully? I sure as hell don't want to lose her - she's my world.Any tips will be v. much appreciated.
Thanks.From Jackie aged 28 acting like a 17-year old!!

How do you know if you're cute if you're a guy? Here's the problem: a guy who is not gay or metrosexual doesn't think of himself in terms of cute. He doesn't wake up in the morning look at himself and say, "dang, I'm a cute guy!" It just doesn't happen. If a guy notices anything about other guys it's phyisical stature and that's probably because of a natural competetive instinct and not for aesthetic value.

So it seems that if you think you're cute it's because of either of two reasons: 1. girls tell you you're cute all the time so you start to believe it and/or 2. nobody has to tell you, you know you're cute.

I see a problem with both. With the first it means you'd be dealing with someone who probably gets a lot of women and probably not going to work too hard to get you or keep you. With the second it seems you'd be dealing with a guy who is vain and is probably cocky.

I don't mean to generalize. I just don't know. What do women really expect?

Eventhough it's flattering, I keep attracting these 18 and 19 year old..some even 17...girls...at my job..I'm a loss prevention officer for a retail store..they usually work parttime and go to college or have dropped out of high school...I'm 34 years old...6 foot 2, African American..I know it's probably a college professor type thing but it gets disruptive and bothersome at work...one girl got so fusturated ..she started some gay rumours because I would'nt get with her...I'm a grown man, divorced and gray streaks are coming in my beard...I need some insight...maybe from a young lady..I know that some of these girls see me come to work every day...treat them with respect and what not....but I'm all scarred, all rough looking, and far from being a pretty boy...I don't get it?
