Read about this on the web. The article was pointing how guys were starting to suffer the same problem as women have for sleeping around a lot. Wondered what people here thought about it.

i don't like the term "damaged goods"
but i do think these people will not have a full understanding and appreciation for what sex truly is all about. loving many means you can never just love one. it also means they may take it for granted..
i want sex with me to be special. not just a hobby or a sport. i don't want to be used like that.. i am a human, not a football! personally, i feel very uncomfortable with the idea of sleeping with someone who has slept around in their past..
but the bottom line, tons of people slept around in their youth and they lived to regret it and they learned from their mistakes.. they are now older and have changed their ways.. and although these people have these little scars for life, i think the wounds have healed and they are able to move on and carry out meaningful loving relationships.. so no, they are not really damaged goods..
i would love to see a link to these articles.. feel free to e-mail me if you can, that would really be great. this is a subject that really interests me.. i actually have a phobia of sorts when it comes to dating people with tons of sexual experience. i need to learn how to overlook their pasts and accept them for who they are.

Depends... if the girl have sex with many guys cos she was in love with them and not that she plays around for the sake of having fun, then she's not really "damaged goods" in terms of the mind and attitude. Yes, stuff like STDs and infections could be related to someone who has many partners, and most definitely, there is a higher risk in fidelity issues with these girls too. But it's not a 100% thing that they are damaged beyond hope.

Not bragging, but I was in a band in High School, with that and everything else I have done, have been with over 75 girls before I was 30. Yes it does damage you. It makes it harder for you to respect them, and It took several years of finding ME to realize that I was not what THEY wanted. Now, I am a single parent, and trying to be Mr Right, but my reputation makes it hard to find a decent girl.
As for the remarks about experence, I can make any girls night. But what good is that if it isn't with the right one for life?
There is a BIG defference between making love and having sex.
And thank God I never had any SYDs, or worse.. I got lucky!

May be - just - the word will get around that the person is sleeping around. Whether this is a bad or good reputation that depends.
Some girls think that you are a hot commodity and they may be more than willing. You get to hunt more that way because your reputation precedes you........Because, girls would like to know by sleeping around with you what makes you so hot...... Some like it hot.

Oh, for both women and men the answer is yes. It shows you have a lack of commitment, don't have self-respect, and don't have any discretion about who it is that you want to be with. It makes women feel as though you don't know a woman's worth and therefore are not worth their time. You're not damaged goods, but you are not worthy of the women you want to commit to.

I don't know about you, but it doesn't seem too cool to be the dude with all the STDs who gets made fun of for it. There is a stigma attached to being like that, but some people let it bother them, others take it in stride. I don't think there is such a big issue, but that's only my 2 cents.

i have been there.I think that is called inflated loss of sperm.Just to be short u dont know love ur just thinking with the middle head.The cure leave that copulation off 4 a few days.U just have to explore urself,and revert back to reality maybe u have herpes now or worse.i was so worried.

Many sex partners is not good, ever heard of hiv or aids. Myself, I would not want someone that slept around a lot, to dangerous.
