I'm sorry to tell you this but height will always be an issue if he is as short as it sounds. If you are really crazy about him, you will be able to deal with it. If not, move on. I dated a guy who wore boots when we were together and I wore flats. We were almost the same height. Will this work for you? By the way, it turned out to be a summer "thing." Good luck. well...u shouldnt really pay attention to people bcus its how YOU feel and not how THEY feel.
i dont think it will be a problem if u both feel the same way but if he's one of those guys that care about looks instead of personality then dont go for him.
