Why is it so hard to get over your first love? I have been struggling with this for a while.

I think it's hard to get over your first love because he or she is the first person that you've been totally devoted to. I know what you mean about getting over it, though, I recently ran into my first love and nearly fell for him again. :( If you ever figure out how to get over him, let me know! I know I don't actually love him, and I have a boyfriend that I adore, but somehow, I still remember the good times...

To be honest it's part of growing up and your first love really has an big impact on you. Believe it or not you will always remember your first love and when you get older the memories will be more happy than now.

I just figured this out myself it cause they were everyhing we could have wanted at one time or another and the thing is that they still are and they dotn realize im realizing that after time they get the picture once they are on the outside looking back even if things were bad at the end there was many things that you to did togather that were amazing im sure and they just dont go away they will be bak hopefully you will still want em back by that time its a game trust me ....

Depends on how you define the first love.. My fist love was in kindergarten when I was 4. He was 5 years old, had very red hair and was covered in freckles. He turned me down and broke my heart. I didn't recover until I started school. :/

Happened over 20 years ago and i'll never forget her. To me its the total compliment to what we had. A long lasting memory. By having that first it enabled me to know what i was looking for later... Enjoy it.......

because you would think that the next love u will have will never be the same for you and even the next guy or girl will not be the same quality but belive you me froma personal experince every girl or guy has there own uniqe way
