Eventhough it's flattering, I keep attracting these 18 and 19 year old..some even 17...girls...at my job..I'm a loss prevention officer for a retail store..they usually work parttime and go to college or have dropped out of high school...I'm 34 years old...6 foot 2, African American..I know it's probably a college professor type thing but it gets disruptive and bothersome at work...one girl got so fusturated ..she started some gay rumours because I would'nt get with her...I'm a grown man, divorced and gray streaks are coming in my beard...I need some insight...maybe from a young lady..I know that some of these girls see me come to work every day...treat them with respect and what not....but I'm all scarred, all rough looking, and far from being a pretty boy...I don't get it?

There is a weird thing that happens to many girls around the age of 18. Because girls mature faster than boys when girls hit 18 they become very interested in older men, mostly because they are just sick of immature boys! And not all girls want a pretty boy either!! Personally, i like a man who looks like a MAN, not a pretty boy! You dont have to quit your job or change who you are or what you do. They would pursue you even more if you wore a ring or knew you were married, as horrible as that sounds! I know im not giving you much of a resolution to your probem, but hopefully youve gained a bit of understanding. Good Luck anyway!!

Be flattered and turn away the ones under 17. 34 doesn't make you too old, that's just a stereotype. You could just rack up some numbers if you are inclined to that sort of thing since most of these girls are extremely immature and only good for sex. On the other hand some can be quite mature and ready for a relationship, if that's what you prefer. I just had a date with a very mature 19 year-old and didn't feel a little weird over it. I'm 34 and can't even get a woman's attention most of the time let alone some young sweet thing! I envy you.

Find a girl that is worth your while, and smart enough. After that, age won't matter.
The thing is, this problem happens to all people, not just because of age. People often attract people that they aren't attracted to because there is that old game of "hard to get". Some people just AREN'T attracted to each other, and don't really show any kind of interest in them, which is sometimes seen as playing hard to get.
The thing is, people that you aren't attracted to will inevitably be attracted to you even if you have no interest.

It turns out that sexual attractiveness is not the same has "handsome" and "pretty."
I'm short, I'm bald and I'm over the hill, and dress quite casually, and still they make eyes and flirt and so on.....
So it looks like there is nothing you can do about it. Plus the age range you mention needs a firm hand - they are at sea with themselves - and a "loss prevention officer" says by the behavior and manner related to his duties that he is an authority. So looks like you got a double whammy going here, so just be careful not to get into any dicey positions.....

You may unconsciously be leading the young girls on when they come in to purchase stuff from the store you guard. They are probably very vulnerable young women and look at you as someone who can protect them. It's nothing you're doing intentionally but I would get a new job, like as a night watch man or something so you don't wind up in trouble you didn't ask for when one of these young ladies says something their parents misinterpret and wind up ruining you for the rest of your life.

well yeah it sounded that your attracted to them. If you like a guy just be yourself ok . Dont worry someday u would fined a wonderful person would cherish and cares for u deeply , want a guy makes you laugh , sensative guys things like dat . Dont worry you a wonderful and a beautiful person inside and out . Just be yourself share likes and dislikes when you meet a special person someday . Quit complaining and be thankful women are still attracted to you. At my age, I'd be happy if there was even one woman who was attracted to me........of any age!

Maybe you pay them too much attention. Stop it. But still be polite. Try to go to places with older people in it. It will work.
