This is a long distance relationship (it will be like this for a year) But we kind of told each other that we would be friends very good friends while I was away... And we never said to each other the "i love u" phrase.
Ok when I left he gave me a letter, I very nice and sweet letter saying how he would never forget me and that I'm the only one who could ever make him feel like this... etc (it's very personal). And he ended with a : LOVE and then the nickname I have for him.
On christmas I sent him an ecard ending it the same way...

Does the word LOVE mean anything without an I and U before and after????
Then is it ok or would you freak If I say LOVE and then my name??

Oh and by the way I do love him. But I don't know if he is in the same level as me... I know he really likes me, A LOT.

thanks for answering my question, here is my answer to yours. First of all just him expressing all those feelings that he feels towards you is a sign that he loves you especially if he said your the only one who can make him feel like this. That means he feels incomplete when your not with him or around. If he liked you he would express it differently probably by asking what your up to and stuff and then ending it in a much loves or something like that if you know what i mean. I wouldn't be all worried about the fact that he said Love because just saying the word or writing it means nothing even if he said I Love you, Him expressing that and telling you how he feels about you is more then just writing on a piece of paper love. You should be happy you got a good man keep him, He LOVES you allot!!

Best of wishes, Keisha

Love is a very strong word. Without a doubt he obviously means something by saying it. When you left, he most likely realized how much you meant to him and felt the need to write you the letter. By saying love at the end of the letter shows that he cares. Don't hesitate when writing back to use the word love. Just make sure he knows how you truly feel.

Well, He lloves you you can tell but the thing is the only reason he put Love whatevr his name is is because he doesnt know how you really feel and doesnt want to be really sudden. you should just tell him in a letter or on the phone I love you and he may respond with the same thing tell him in P.s after words say that you dont know if he is on the same level but if not it is Ok because you dont have to rush into things just something you have been wanting to say to him for a while. He will probably respond the same way because it sounds like he loves you as much as you Love him. :)

Hope I could help tell me what ends up happening in an email my email is monkey78362@yahoo
p.s (or in a messange on yahoo messenger)

I think in these days love comes very easy vice versa.I feel myself that society is so out of touch with reality.Love is only make believe in most cases.I feel most people mistake love from friendship.I have made that istake myself.

What's the big deal? Either you love someone or you like them on nothing at all. I've told girls I love them and I appreciate it if they say it to me. I don't get all emotionally overdrawn over that word.

It's all good, I don't think it necessarily implies you love whoever you talk to. I think it's more sincere, heartfelt than just saying sincerely or plainly signing a name.

If anyone is scared off by it, they have issues..

Ask him, not a bunch of strangers with an average age of 12.

I would say using "Love, whoever" is a way of insinuating he loves you without having to go all the way and say it. It's like a pre-cursor to "I love you".

It means whatever you want it to mean. Don't be afraid to say what you are feeling. Loving someone is being willing to risk everything. You have to be willing to risk rejection to find committment.
