So i invited a girl on a first date and i was wondering, she doesnt know this yet but i was thinking of taking her to a place about 10 mins away, and go hot air ballooning as a first date. How does that sound? too extreme for a first date ?

my bf has lied before to me in the past. he hasnt done it in a while. is this a sign that i can start trusting him again. or should i wait a while longer. how will i ever know if he wont be like that again. he lied in the past but not now. will he most likely do some more in the future? what do you think?

was in a long distance relationship for 8 years(1998-2006). me and my girlfriend fell in love and had plans to move in together and have kids and get married etc. im a honest, caring, faithful guy who believes in commitment. when we first met, she begged me not to leave her because she thought i would because of the distance. i stayed with her. she cheated on me a few years later, right after she told me that i was the only guy she ever wanted to be with. she begged me to take her back and i did. last summer she told me that she had been seeing other people off and on for years and she was just got our of a relationship with a guy because she got pregnant. all this behind my back. she has totally cut me off of her life. she recently told me that she got back with him. im am really hurt and feel like a total fool and idiot. how can she have a kid with another guy and i am the one that had been through thick and thin with her. through the good and bad times.

This guy I've been seeing once or twice a week for the past 3 months left town to go visit his family for the holidays. He left last Saturday and won't be back for two weeks. He said he'll email me when he comes back. But I'm concerned for the fact he doesn't even drop me a line while he is gone. Am I supposed to wait for two weeks till I hear from him again? I think if he was into me enough, he would want to contact me. Am I asking too much? Should I just drop him if he does not contact me while he's away?

I am a really caring guy and there is this girl I like, We are both sophmores and have known each other a long time and we both know we like each other. I'm a freelance journalist and I write magazine articles for a living. Last year I got a book contract for my first book and I was paid an advance. My boyfriend did a graduate degree in creative writing but he has never managed to get any of his writing published. Recently he became depressed and also refused to read any of my writing work. Finally he admitted it was because my success at writing was making him very angry and jealous. I asked him how he would deal with things when my book came out and if I became successful and made a lot of money. His reply was, "you're unlikely to make real money, like Sidney Sheldon, so thankfully its not going to be something that I'll have to worry about."
I said, "how do you even know what money I might or might not make?"
He said, "I'm sure of it. You're just not going to make that much money at it."

Right now I think he is pathetic. How do I deal with his constant negativity and competitiveness?

i talked to my bf about how he hurts me when we havent had sex for awhile. and he said he never has tried to hurt me but when we didn't do it after a few months he went as fast as he could just starting, and it ripped me and i bleed like i was on my period. It hurt really bad and i told him i don't want to have sex or anything sexual with him. I tried talking about it a few mins ago with him and he said just get over urself and stop being a baby no one is hurting you. i really love him but i don't trust him in bed. and he is saying we can do it again after college.if we ever get married then. yet i don't want to with him ever. and he wants kids now, and i'm seriously thinking i don't want kids with him now. i don't know what to do.i know its sad to be 18 and not know what to do on this situation but i've never had this happen. and i really want someone else opinion

Ok, my boyfriend and I have been together a little under a year he is 20 and I am 19, things were really good at first now, he only calls like once every other day and we only see eachother maybe twice a week, he just gave me a really nice ring for Christmas, not an engagement ring or anything but then he didn't call me the day after he gave it to me. He just moved out of his mom's house and since then I feel like I don't even know him, we never talk anymore and he is so defensive about EVERYTHING. What the hell is his problem. As of now I am just trying to grin and bare it to avoid an argument because when I try to talk to him, he has a fit. What the hell is his deal?

Flowers are pretty , but they are gonna dry and sooner or later be into trash can.

I ve seen movies in which girls are glad to recieve flowers from boys.

Isnt it already ancient story? or girls can be still happy receiving flowers?
