Do girls really like flowers as a present?

Question

Flowers are pretty , but they are gonna dry and sooner or later be into trash can.

I ve seen movies in which girls are glad to recieve flowers from boys.

Isnt it already ancient story? or girls can be still happy receiving flowers?

I am going to give a present to a newly found girl Sue, I want to give her a little present. Flowers are not suitable or its O.k?

99% girls like flowers. Flowers are beautiful and delicate. So if you give a girl flowers you are making girl feels like she is special and beautiful.

I think girls do like flowers (I did when I was younger, and still do), particularly if you've put some thought into it. Buy in-season flowers, and you'll save some money, but they'll still look beautiful.

Consumable gifts are appropriate first gifts, that's why flowers and chocolates are so popular. No one wants to have mementos from failed romances, so giving things that will hang around after you've stopped seeing each other is not cool. And according to etiquette, jewelry is supposed to be a no-no until after you're married (exception: engagement ring), but most couples seem to break that rule (then agonize about it... causes lots of problems and bad feelings, that jewelry!).

When we were in high school I advised my younger brother on dating etiquette. Told him ALWAYS to bring some flowers on a date, even if he could only afford the really inexpensive ones. He was enormously popular with the ladies, so it must've been good advice.

Girls usually like flowers. Even though the flowers will die soon, it is still seen as a nice jesture.

If I was a girl I would tell the guy to not get me flowers because they're going to die anyways.

Yes girls enjoy flowers if they are pretty even if they dry out sooner or later but you have to give more then flowers. Bit yes girls will feel special if you give them flowers

Flowers in addition to something small that she can keep with her for a while. Flowers only enhance the experience and show that even though flowers fade, you went the extra mile to make her happy. Good luck.

flowers are suitable for a first gift. If your worried about them dying, then grab an orchid(type of flower) my bf bought me 1 and it lasted about 3 weeks, i was so happy n they are such a beautiful flower aswell. If you dont think she's a flower type of girl, try for a simple necklace or braclet. Chocolates r good but she mite get the wrong impression. She will probably think that you think she always eats choccy's n thats y shes fat (chicks are not really fat, but trust me, they all think it)

It all depends on the girl. I love my man coming over and picking flowers on his way. They dont have to be brought but then again I am not your typical female.Some females like simple things others are money orientated.
People that say they dont like flowers cause they die is crap. You can alwasy pick some out and dry them.

I honestly think that if it is a new found girl, then flowers are awesome. In new relationships it's very flattering for a girl to get them. The question is: Which kind to give her? Might want to ask that question next!

Flowers can be nice, only if the woman or girl apprecitates them, trying giving a basket of flowers that will continue to grow with care that can be a constant reminder that you care.
