no. i don't believe in fate or destiny or any of that. we're no different from dogs or cats or ants or rats, except that as humans we have brains that unfortunately do us more harm than good. our brains allow us to sit around pondering "the meaning of life" and what "our purpose" is when in fact we're just biological creatures like all other living things on this earth.

Yes and no, because like your parents, you didnt' attract them. You came from them, and they love you. But they could also just throw you in an adoption center. or your boyfriend/girlfriend, you attracted them, and that's why they're there. Same thing with your friends
