I have been dating the best girl in the entire world for 14 months now! I love her so much! However, I am having a few problems. When we are with her parents, I am not exactly the center attention (trust me, i dont really want to be), but the thing is, i am the exact opposite. I am rarely noticed. The only time i am is if i say anything that is of any interest to anyone or if it is benifital to themselves. But even that lasts a very short period of time. I wouldnt call them "rich" but more upper-middle class, and I grew up just middle class. And sometimes all the stuff they do gets to me. Like they dont want to pay for her college, yet they want to take extravagant vacations. Her mom wears the pants in the family and is very old fashioned. My family has accepted my girlfriend as family 6 weeks after they met her, her mom, however, doesnt treat me, or my own family, like family or even a close friend, and wont until we are engaged. I know I cannot change her parents, but what can I do?!

My sister just had a baby and I was there for the birth and it was an awesome experience... I have baby sat for her before and the baby is kinda easy to watch, but when he starts crying and won't stop I go crazy, I can't stand it, It makes me so angry and frustrated... I just think that one day i'm going to love a guy so much and i'll probably want to have children with him... I'm afraid because I don't want to feel that way when my baby cries... my sister tells me it is because the baby is not my own, is this true? I just can not stand to hear a baby cry.. it eats at my nerves.

I work for a dentist and he wrote me up today, claiming that he had gotten numerous complaints from patients about me. I don't doubt that it is true, as I have been in the field for 10 yrs. and one thing that I have seen is that patients are going to complain and there is nothing that you can do about it. Whether it is about money, they were hurting or that they think you were rude to them, sooner or later everyone gets complained about in this field. Thing is, he didn't even give me the chance to defend myself or rebute the complaints before he wrote me up. he made the office managers do the dirty work, and I told them that I didn't feel that I should have to sign it, as if I was admitting guilt. They told me that I had every right to write or type something up that gives my side of it, but even if I do I am still going to get written up. Do I have to sign it, is it admitting guilt, and do I have the legal right to write out a detailed letter in my defence to be put with the write up?

He is new to the "truckin" thing, and should be getting his own rig right around christmas. I asked him what he wanted as far as a gift goes...he said "stuff for the truck" I don't know what that means. I asked him, but he's not sure either (don't make any sense to me) I don't know what to get him... Please give me a few Ideas if you might know of something. Thank you!

I know people who post about suicide on here are generally just made fun of and/or told to just go die... or are told they are doing it for the attention... I apparantly dont want any of those...

... so yeah ... I want to kill myself.. soon.. I'm a 15 year old girl.. I have nothing to live for... people who've told me they cared just ended up being jerks.. most of my friends have deserted me ... my family... I just don't know

I dont think lifes worth it.. seriously .. all the crap we have to put up its not worth it..

so she dumped me and has been avoiding me. ive avoided her too. ive tried to dress up better, and look prettier...then on my way, i saw her, she didnt see me. like me, shes dressed up differently and better..its so weird...i saw her moving on...i wish she saw me too but i decided not to say hi and pretended not to see her...it hurts so much..i dont know how i should react..but i hate this feeling for i felt like im back to scratch...pls help me move on. Everyday I face my childern oldest son do not like me hates for me to touch him. Husband do not talk to me just walk pass me like I am nothing to him. Don't have a life . Want to go to school but can not because of money. Husband is in school ask him for help and he says nothing to me. I need my GED . I have dreams but do not know how to go forth. Fall in love with a married man thinking that he will be different just to know that it is only sex. Help me please I need to find me and know what the hell is going on in my life. My childern is never happy I always scream and cry every night .

I'm a big girl don't get me wrong, I don't cry or dwell on it, but for the time being it really irks my soul. She never calls unless she needs a favor, such as keeping her kids, doing something on the computer for her or lending her something. We both live in a small town where we have little family, {she does have more in this town than I do though}, so I could see us helping each other with such things, but to never call unless it is that time. Sometimes, I call her to talk, as I need someone to talk to about something or nothing, but she just sits there as if she would rather be digging grub worms. Today, I made it clear in a nice way that I had other things to do tomorrow, but could help her out for about a hour. She made the comment, if you help me this time I'll never ask you to do anything for me again. I said, OK, as I wasn't in to her pissy attitude. I never ask her for anything by the way. Should I tell her tomorrow my issue with her?

Ok so my daughter hasnt seen her father in about 6 years( he walked out on us). well his girlfriend of 3 years just found out that he has a kid and SHE wants to meet her (just her not with her dad) and Im confused...why would she be doing this? She wants to take her shopping for christmas and hang out for a day....Im not sure what to do. My daughter wants NOTHING to do with her dad.

I've lived in this apartment for about 2 months, and since then I've been receiving this guy's bank statements, credit card bills, offers, etc...Curiosity got the best of me one time and I opened a letter from a credit card company with some very harsh wording regarding an unpaid balance in the thousands...I don't know what the polite thing to do is.

Okay, so I'm really overprotective-- of myself. Especially when it comes to boys. I am a very focused highschool student, so sometimes I inadvertently shut them out, and I think I intimidate them. I think they believe I'm hard to get to know... but I promise I'm NOT at all. At first I think it's just because you know I'm strong and confident, but it's getting to the point where I think I'm becoming unapproachable, especially at a time when I wouldn't mind being approached. I work in an unusually high-stressed call center (due to a faulty website on the company's part) but still manage to take about twice as many calls per day as the next highest person. Unfortunately, neither my boss nor my supervisor try to include me in recent news or events (eg. bonus incentives, additional work loads, training new employees, handling calls from 'elite' agents) and just recently I observed a loud/flamboyant co-worker get promoted to the newly created position of 'senior cust. serv rep'. I perceive the reason is others don't take me as sociable but that's just because when I started I was under great anxiety which often makes me withdraw into my work. The point is I've changed and the anxiety has tapered off but it seems the damage has been done. I've already told my supervisor not to hesitate to delegate more responsibilites off to me but it is not working. It seems only the 'chatty' people who over-socialize get the most recognition or whatever. What can I do?

I want to go to work and save money to get my own place. My family lives 3000 miles away and all I have here is my husband's family. I don't want to be with him anymore, and I would like to leave will I love him instead of hate him. I have thought about just going and getting a job, and telling him to just deal with it, but he can get real mean and say very hateful things and I don't want my kids to have to deal with that. Right now I just do want he wants, but I'm tired of not have a say in what I do.

Been together for about 3 years on again off again, have 2 little girls that love him and he's now moved in and out of my home twice in last year. Every fight we have he ends up leaving and turns his phone off or dosn't answer. Tonight it happened again and i left message on his phone saying if it's so easy walk in and out then the next time you come back to doors will locked. All of his possesions are here and not sure if that legal to lock him out?? Told him when he's ready to face us and talk civil then i might consider unlocking door. Any sugestions??
