He is new to the "truckin" thing, and should be getting his own rig right around christmas. I asked him what he wanted as far as a gift goes...he said "stuff for the truck" I don't know what that means. I asked him, but he's not sure either (don't make any sense to me) I don't know what to get him... Please give me a few Ideas if you might know of something. Thank you!

Get him a lot of gift certificates for restaurants since he will be eating out all the time. Maybe a T.V. with a DVD player and some movies. Those Armor All wipes to clean the inside of the truck. A nicely framed picture of the family to look at. Air fresheners. A laptop. CD's. Does he have a cell phone? A Nice trucker map of the U.S.

Give him this advice from another trucker, when he gets tired of it he can make more money at home. The money stinks in trucking he will find that out shortly but its better at home.

My husband is a truck driver. He would constantly complain that his back would hurt. So for Father's Day I purchased a seat cushion that gives him a back massage while he's driving. He enjoys it very much.
