I think there is no proper age. Its how the son and mother feel about it. My 19 year old brother still kisses my mom on the lips. I wouldnt look at anyone any differently doing it.

As long your son is comfortable, he can kiss you on the lips, regardless how old he is. It's an expression of love between a mother and son. There's no age barrier but may be depending on the racial and religion background, there'll be certain limitations.

A boy should stop kissing his mom at age 5. That's when they start paying attention to things then they might do that to everybody. Not a good thing.

Well comming from a mom of a 8 year old boy, who is starting to not want to kiss his mom exept when he is sick and needs his mother, I guess that would be a good age. It is harder on the mother, but it is a part of growing up.

no matter how old you are, you can always kiss your mom on the lips. anyone who makes fun of you for it is a dick head and not worth listening to. It shows that you have a caring and trusting relationship with your mom, and it looks good to most girls if you are that comfortable with yourself.

When ever he and she feels "uncomfortable" kissing like that.

I kissed my son on his lips until he was 20 and I'm his father.

He's married now and has 3 of the most beautiful of my grandchildren and one on the way!

Don't complicate stuff. Live life!
