I spend the holidays with a mixed group of family and friends. My best friend always invites her uncle. Initially, he is pleasant. But as the day passes, he becomes more and more intoxicated. At dinner recently, he surpassed his usual vulgarities and went straight to sexual innuendos. He told my nephew to shut his "F'n" mouth, and suggested that my husband 'teach me a lesson', whatever that means. I cannot take it anymore. I am not the only one who has met their limit in this area. I suggested that my friend tell him that these drunken tirades will not be tolerated. But she is afraid that he'll feel alienated. Christmas is around the corner, what do I do? I don’t want to be alienated, either.

this guy has been chasing me for years. even when i was in my past serious relationship.(he did know my ex, not friends tho and my ex has moved away) (i was with my ex for 6 years, engaged and had our own place together)

i have only met up with him by chance a few times.we live in different towns and meet up if we happen to be out in the same town.

he says he likes me etc. we have only kissed but he does want to "take things further".

he does ask me about my ex when we are together.ive been single now for 8 months. he also asked if ive been with anyone else since my ex.

how can i tell if he is really interested in me and not just after sex?
he hasnt asked me out on a date. is he just giving me space cause of my ex or is he just waiting for sex?wouldnt he have given up now if he was just after sex?

Here's the deal; the love of my life Lauren is visiting her father and brother who live out of state. They are trying to get her to leave me and move 1,700 miles away. Her dad is basically offering her a free ride to do this. He is offering to pay her way with just about everything, send her back to college, pay her bills, car etc... He has never met me, so he doesn't understand that his daughter is my life. I would walk to the ends of the world to get her back. He doesn't like the fact that I am in the entertainment industry and I can be a 'has been' any minute. While I do well now, that's not good enough for him. But I feel I have spent all my life looking after kids.However when I try to something for myself, my husband always puts me down, or gives me no encouragement whatsoever. I enjoy writing poetry, but he says it's a waste of time, so I have stopped. He has hobbies and goes drinking but I dont do anything, how can I get him to see that I need my hobbies too?

You are a woman - you are out in the pub and a guy you know from school approaches you and tells you that your partner has been unfaithful in a foreogn country with a foreign girl. You ask your partner and he denies it. You check your partners emails there is 1 email from the girl in question, saying hello, nothing more. You email her back pretending to be your partner, she replies saying she loves you and misses you (your partner that is.) You confort your partner again and he still says he has no knowledge of the girl. You go on Yahoo Messenger and chat to the girl, she says nothing happened, only a kiss goodbye on the cheek (as European's do), she says they met 2 times in a bar with other people/friends. You ask your partner again about this and he denies it again saying he has no knowledge of this girl.

For extra information: you have been with your partner for 8 years he has never been unfaithful or lied to you (not to your knowledge anyway.)

my uncle passed away last week and i was at the hospital when it happened.My aunt and cousins were there too and really appreciated me being there(i havnt seen them since i was a little girl) My uncle thought a lot of me and i had only visited him at home the weekend before he died. My problem is that i said i would go to the funeral, but his family has had his body taken back to their town which is over seven hours drive away, Im not sure taking my two young children on such a long drive on my own is a good idea and i will have to borrow money for the cost of fuel and a motel , does anyone have any advice?

My boyfriend is very emotionally abusive towards me. He's prone to bouts of anger and he calls me names, says i'm worthless and that everythings my fault, that it's my fault he's so messed up. He lies to me a lot and I even witnessed him cheating once, but I didn't say anything. Finally, it got too far and I broke up with him. Well a few days later he apologized and said he would take anger management classes and try to make everything work between us again. So I stupidly forgave him. At first he seemed to have really changed but now he's back to being abusive towards me again. and though he's not as cruel as he used to be towards me, he still hurts me a lot. I really care for him and everytime I go to break up wtih him again I can't, he'll always just say something that makes me sorry for him and I'm always afraid that maybe he really does care for me and that I'll hurt him if we break up again. I don't know what to do. I don't want to hurt him.

5 years ago, i met one man and some magic happened to my eyes and my heart.later i know that it was fall in love.and now i know that i love him so true.but when he and everybody asked me why i love him?i just can't give them the answer.sometimes i seeems don't know the answer but sometimes it seems too many answers which i can't tell them all.i never want his money unless want him to buy me underwear and some small gifts,i never want to break his marriage. but he left me for left me for another woman. i am still love him and hope that he will come back one day in my life. i feel really depressed and regret, i left my job and don't know what to do? but i wonder if i really love him or coz i want him to be my friend,to look after me. coz i also want him to be with me and have baby with me,i need his love. am i love myself or i love him? can someone tell me? and tell me should i wait for him or not?? and tell me if any counsellor or doctor on internet i can talk to.
