A year ago my son had to be punished because he joined bad crowds, was doing dangerous stuff. We grounded him for some months until we could trust him again. He changed completely, but got very resentful and humiliated, because he had apologized and promised to change and it took us months to trust him again. Today he's a great boy but avoids us, doesn't talk to us about his life, he just lives with us. We tried to tal with him a lot of times, explained we were afraid he'd do something dangerous, it was out of love. But he always says he can't get over , we should have belived him (although he had some chances to change his behavior without a punishment) and shouldn't wait for months before trusting him again. Today he's sure a great guy, but sems will never love us again. This year he got in the honor roll of his school and didn't tell us, I got to know from a teacher. We could have so many activities together, I could help him so much. But seems his resentment will last forever

My boyfriend of 8 years decided that he was not in love with me anymore this weekend. I pack my daughter and myself up and moved out of our home into an apartment. I am devastated by this and dont know if I can go on. He s 33 and I am 32 years old and the thought of dating scares me to death!!! I keep questioning myself if I did the right thing or not. We have only fought 1 X in 8 years and then this happens the fight happen when we first got together. We were the perfect family and I dont know what to do!! Please help!!!!!!

My boyfriend and I were talking about the holiday's. I know the holiday's are hard for him now because this past April he lost him Mother. I know his the feeling, I lost a child 3 yrs ago, so I know the feeling of not having a loved one around and I want to respect his wishes on this but I'm having a hard time doing what he ask. His family has decided not to do Holiday's this year in memory of there mom. That means there not buying gifts for each other or for anyone else. Well he said that he is going to do this but he would like to buy me something but would like for me not to buy him anything. He said it would just be to hard. So what do I do? I had already started on making him this blanket. Do i just go ahead and give him that and nothing else? Or should I buy him something small but special? Or just do what he ask? Any thoughts would be good.

I'm a good kid. I get good grades, I'm a good friend. I dont go out with guys because i'm bored or enything ridiculous. I have a best friend who i couldn't live without. my ex and i broke up quite a while ago. although i think he loves me well he says his heart is with me.he sed if u love some one let them go if they come back there awlays ures. i have been a ***** to him since we broke up because i didnt know how to deal with it. threatening him with various things. ehich i regret totally.

I really need some good feedback. I spent 2 years starving to get my business off the ground. I refused to give up and I worked my butt off with stress like a wall on my shoulders the entire time. No one from my family helped or supported me AT ALL. If I heard anything, it was, "You're never going to make it", "Maybe you need to find another career", etc. So the last year or so have been great. I went from starving to do really, really well. I still work my butt off but things are so much better. In the last 6 months, I have had people come out of the woodwork asking for help financially--always with some desperate story attached. I'm not a rock, I do feel for them. I did loan a bit in the beginning, but have found that they don't stop asking after that. I am not an ATM, did not win the lottery, and am sick of it. I have said things like, I'm sorry, I can't help you, but then I am evil. What a mess. Please help.

he says he doesnt want one because 1) there is no need for a fuss (it's his 40th so I disagree) & 2) he would be worried that harldy anyone would turn up & that would be worse than not having a party in the first place.
We dont know that many people so its a fair point & his b-day is only a week after xmas so many people will have made plans already?

I fell in love with a guy in Africa 27 years ago and we wanted to get married then, but my parents refused.We parted ways,he got married and had kids and I did the same.My husband died and moved to the United States.I recently met with my old b/f who happened to be in the USA also.He is still married(though having problems).
He fell in love with me all over again,but I dont feel the same way anylonger(he actually disvirgined me years ago),he refused to accept we can no longer have a relationship,and says he cannot bear to do without me,he stucks me with unending phonecalls day and night,calls everybody I know to beg me...and so on.The truth is..I dont love him anymore and moreover,he is MARRIED.PLease help,what do you all advice.Thanks in advance.

My mother said she drove behind her and she was all over the road,... my grandmother said it was becuase of the dog.
Frankly I was surprised to find out she was still driving,.....
She can hardly walk sometimes,,....

I love her dearly but what about the safety of the other people on the road? SHe is so stubborn,....
I told my mother to call the police so that they can nicely stop her and take her liscence away, Is that mean?
My mother said that would give her a heart attack.

My husband and I get to see his 10 year old son three times a year (we live over a thousand miles away) and one of those times is Thanksgiving. We asked 'BabyMomma' if it was okay for us to get him an XBox 360 as an early Christmas gift. She said'yes, but how am I supposed to top that?'. So we give it to him and he's all happy and stuff, he and his Dad have some bonding time and everything is great. When BabyMomma arrives to pick him up, he exclaims 'hey mom, dad got me an XBox!' to which she replies 'yeah, well I got you a Playstation 3!'.
He hasn't signed onto his XBox live account, which leads me to believe that they hooked up the PS3 and the XBox is going to be a dust collector. She couldn't even wait until Christmas or something. Says she just happened to be at the right place at the right time to get one - she was in a WalMart and they announced that 4 more had just come in (isn't the second shipment scheduled for December 10th, and would they really risk a stampede?) Help!

My boyfriend and I have been together now for 4yrs, and engaged for 2, but I cannot help feeling suspicious of him. I recently found, through checking his emails, that he had signed up for an internet dating site and was able to see who he had 'flirted with' by signing in as him (-he stupidly uses the same password for EVERYTHING!). More recently I could see from the back history of his server homepage that he had also looked at singles dating websites and nightclub info for another country (-the same country that he just happens be working in for a couple of weeks after christmas). He works away alot and I dont doubt that this is what he is doing, but am I right to be suspicious? Or should I just leave it and stop spying in him? I obviously should not be looking at his personal emails, which makes it harder to ask him about it. If only I could get hold of his phone...... trouble is he keeps it on him at all times! Am I a bunny boiler?!!.. Should I just trust him?

Have you ever left someone you still love? Someone you still love as much as the day you met them?

I am, or at least I need to leave my fiance. He has done nothing but impact my life negatively and it's time to cut my losses and get out. He is funny, silly at times. not really into serious conversations. he's family oriented, wants to have kids and a house and a boat and a 3 bay garrage. he's a good and hard worker. He's not book smart, but knows about life. He likes to take me out, to a movie, or a nice dinner. he spends a lot of money, too much for my standards. he's good with kids and my parents like him. He used to be a bad boy, but calmed down a lot. He likes fast cars, ice hockey, Futurama and Mountain Dew. He doesn't eat healthy. He likes to be held in his sleep. He takes very good care of me. He supports me in my career, and wants me to get a good job. He's lazy at times, and watches too much TV. but he fulfills his duties and helps out around the house. He says he loves me every day. And I love him.

Is he a keeper?
