i think everybody get's their come uppance..
look at it this way, a player can be a player as long as he is young and attractive, he can't keep doing it all his life and will probably end up a lonely old man, without a family and without love.. that's sad...
or maybe mrs right or mr right (we all know there are women players these days) for them will come along, and will really hurt them...
i do believe in "what goes around comes around" although i don't wish anyone anything bad. players miss out on so much, even if things don't work out in a relationship there are always good times and we can learn so much and not make the same mistakes next time... lots of players are covering up on some load of complexes they have... have pity, i can't imagine that they are all happy!
:) and don't waste ur time pining over a player, he's not worth it!

Sometimes, every story is different. I know a bloke who slept through most of town and was having a great time, then he met a lovely girl who he fell for big time but soon she started hearing all the stories about him, how he slept with loads of women and he didn't treat them respectfully. Eventually she heard enough and left him and he was devastated. So he got his come uppance. Others have a great life, stop and have a family so to those I would say didn't.
Every story different...unless one of the ones they jilted go out of their way to make sure the player gets their come uppance, then its not down to chance because someone is actively imposing a punishment.

If you count Wagga then the Danihers would not compete. The best to come out of the area is Wayne Carey. These stats don't lie: All-Australian 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999, 2000 All-Australian Captain 1993, 1998, 1999, 2000 North Melbourne Premiership Teams 1996, 1999 North Melbourne Captain 1993-2001 North Melbourne Leading Goalkicker 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1998, 1999 North Melbourne Captain of the Team of the Century Enough said.

i'm a player, i've never cheated but never been with a girl long enough to cheat. i can't help the way i am. women just adore me but im always honest and tell them "baby one night with me is worth a thousand nights in heaven, but i can't be yours exclusively" they understand this. my comeuppance is never knowing love or having somebody special to make dinner for when they come home from work, feeling alone when i see a couple holding hands as they walk down the street. being sure i'll leave no grieving widow behind to miss me when i die.

yeah i do, a girl could go through life branded with names because they may have a healthy sex life where as a player is the lad and i hate that, they are not considerate no women at all. they just see fun and a bit of a challenge

Yes ... quite frequently as a matter of fact. Unfortunately, some of them are too shallow to realize that they've missed a chance at meaningfulness and too self-absorbed to care.

Yeah because one day there will find someone they really like and that person will know about their past record with the opposite sex and not give them the time of day, well its wishful thinking huh? -x-

Oh they do! Trust me on that, what goes around comes around. It might be tomorrow or it might be years from now but when they least expect it, it will come back to them. That's Karma for you.

Yepp, we get played sometimes too. Everyone is a player, to some extent, and everyone gets played.
