I want to ask my boyfriend if he thinks our relationship has a future?

How do I do this subtly? I 'd like to ask him if we are going in the right direction , and I want to get married next year, but I want to do this subtly. How can I bring this up in a way that he won't feel any pressure?We are together for over a year and are both over 30.

I was thinking of maybe telling him tonight that my feelings are v.strong for him and saying...Do you think that we are heading in the right direction with our relationship?

He is my husband to this day .We are very much in love and our love only grows stronger with each day we are blessed to be in.
