Yes your sister is right. When you have a child of your own you won't be able to stand to her that baby cry either but your ears won't be hurting your heart will. Thats how I feel when I hear my baby cry, I immediately have to go to the baby because it hurt to hear your own baby cry. It does me anyway.

I actually have the same feelings, and I have three kids. I am able to keep to frustration in the sub levels (unless I'm lacking on sleep). I think it is normal for of us to feel that way; here's why: We are out of control. The baby is in control of the situation and we do not know how to get the control back. Now if it is your kid you will start to be able to pick out which cry means what and then control is some what back in your hands. When you have children you can never really be in full control at any time, however you can learn to direct the movements in a somewhat organized pattern, or at least my wife can.

No it's not true. Some women never get over that feeling and they shouldn't have children, that is how babies wind up in hospitals or worse, dumpsters. If you know you don't like to hear babies crying don't be around them, you might outgrow this but then again you might not and a baby doesn't deserve you finding out the hard way.

If it bothers you this much you should not be watching that child. A baby cries for several reason or no reason at all and is unable to communicate why. For the safety of that baby you should tell your sister you can't babysit. If you are in a situation like that it is best to put the child in a safe spot (crib) and walk away for a little while to calm yourself down.

Don't worry. When you have children it will be a different scenario. Babies will cry. When you become pregnant, you will read everything you can get your hands on about child-rearing. You will talk to your mom and she will clue you in as to why children cry. Just for an example, they cry because they are hungry, wet, colicky, or just have to burp. You will find ways to console your children and give them the attention they need at that moment. For you to be so concerned just shows what a good mommy you will be. Good Luck.

Trust me there is nothing wrong with feeling like that. Unless you go so crazy that the baby is in harm. I have a 4 year old and a 3 month old and there is nothing worse then hearing them cry or whine (In My Opinion) But when they are your own you have so much more patience to deal with them and you will know exactly what to do to calm them.

your sister is right. When its your baby its different you have carried it for nine months you have nutured it watched it grow spent everyday with it and know why she is crying so your used to it. When my husbands neice cry it annoys me too. Its just frustrating because you don't know why she is crying. Its nature. Unless you feel like you want to hurt the baby then your fine. If you want to hurt the baby you should seek counseling to see what your true feelings are. I think you'll be fine dont worry motherhood comes naturally.

same here.. i hate it i hate it i hate it.. i cant stand more than anything in the world when a baby cries. i said i never wanted a child.. but i think i do want one .. but when im older.. and i think that your sister is right.. i think it has to be your own child in order for you not to hate him.. but also you need to take care of him well and treat him well and not yell at him because that doesnt solve a thing.. if the baby does it too much(when you get one) then you might get used to it. but dont worry about that.. you wont end up hating your child.. i guarantee that..=]

Everyone goes a lil crazy when babies cry, just because we get frustrated becuase they can tell us what is wrong. I have 5 neices and nephews...they cry even their mom gets upset. Nothing unusal...no fear. Just you will learn not to get as frustrated as you get older. Dont worry.

Your sister is right. Your time will come, when you mature further, your baby crying should be different feelings for you. Wait until you are absolutely ready.
