I'll be leaving pretty much everything behind. a friend of mine has offered me a job on an island resort. a job I've been dreaming of all my life, but then I've just reunited with my family and recently refurbished our two homes, I desperately want to go but I feel kinda bad leaving them. what to do? my mom's kinda reluctant to let me go and dad ain't talking abt it.... I wanna go! Help?

You know that stuff you’ve been reading in the girly magazines that tell you that women like to be romanced with candlelit dinners before you gently (gently!) make love to them by first giving them hours of oral pleasure and then softly (oh so softly!) penetrating them while staring lovingly into their eyes…always making absolutely sure that they reach orgasm first?

Well, it’s all bunk.

Do you want to know what they really talked about when discussing the best sex they ever had? They talked about their scraped knees and the bruises on our backs where they were bitten in the throes of passion. No one even mentioned that time you filled the bathtub full of rose petals and blah,

Well, my husband of 25 years won't share what he got me for Christmas! I'd be glad to share what I got for him, if he'd do the same but everytime I ask him he says he got me some bricks! and I know Wal Mart doesn't sell bricks! Besides, he says the same things every year.

I just think that after 25 years he should be honest with me, don't you?

I met this guy on a matrimonial website in july 2006.I was in manchester from abroad at that time. he was in london. we talked every night for about 3 months, after which, due to my insistance, I went down to london to meet him. I was more keen to meet him before i went back home. It was a lovely meeting. as if we knew each other for ages. we were extremely comfortable in each other;s presense. My boyfriend broke up with me, because of what my mother said and my sister said to him. There is more to the story, but I'll cut it short. As has been known, there are far more White male/Asian female couples than Asian male/White female. People say this has been attributed to media (More white male/asian female couples portrayed in media than white female/asian male). Do you think the rise of Asian male representation in media with characters like Hiro Nakamura (plus his relationship with a white female, Charlie) in Heroes help out the Asian male cause? Or are stereotypes still holding back Asian males in the dating world? Are views of Asian males slowly changing?

I broke up with my boyfriend, I have to go to work at a hospital in about four hours ( im in med school).. And just had this really depressing chat with my mother. She said I was wasting my life because im 20 and i work 60 hours a week. I'm also too pretty to end up a "crone". Is my life pathetic? Crap WTF is wrong with me?

I just finished watching the movie Hostel, after being completely disturbed and horrified by it, I got to thinking.

What leads a human being to desire such things?

For those of you who are not familiar with the movie, it basically goes something like this: Some eastern European country created a market fullfilling sick fantasies of rich people from around the world. Basically what they do is they kidnap people, and handcuff them to a chair in a torture chamber of sorts where the rich patrons pay them to torture and kill in gruesome manners the kidnapped individual. Americans are in high demand.

I wonder what leads people into such psychophatic behaviour? Could it be because they are rich, and having everything that they ever desire becomes boring to them and they want that which is taboo?(we humans bore easily)

I've heard of thing like this happening around the world, such as: people eating human babies, paying to rape a woman, and the more common pedophilia.

I have been going out with my boyfriend for almost 5 years. I do love him so much though. But I have been cheating on him ever since I've known him. I mean every guy that I've been out with I have cheated on them. I'm 21 and he's 40. I have come tp the realization that I am too kind to those who hurt me. I have been in a lot of bad relationships where the men do the most unimaginably hurtful and harmful things to me. And I still stay kind and forgive them, over and over again.

I want to know how to stop that. I hate that they wont leave me alone, but I don't want to hurt them either. Is it possible to do that? And how can I go about that? Thanks!
