My boyfriend and I have been together for a year. We are very busy with exams at the moment and so we decided to give eachother our anniversary present together with our christmas present. That will give us time to shop. I have no idea what to get him. Can anyone help me?

But recently he has gotten ALOT better. He hasnt done or sold any of them and hes moved out of a really bad situation and also been promoted at work. Anyway...the downfall is that he has taken up drinking. He never used to drink, he just didnt like to. But now that he doesnt do the drugs i guess he thinks he needs sumthing to fill it. He drinks almost every night. Now I don't have a problem with drinking, I myself will drink occasionally like on weekends but every night is too much. My dad has been an alcoholic all my life, I dont know him any other way...and I always swore to myself that i would NEVER be with anyone like him, to put myself and my future children through all his bullshit. So am I being crazy or overreacting about my ex's drinking? Do i need to give it another break like with the drugs until he gets through it. Maybe it is just a phase....and it will pass? Im not sure what to do

I've made my mistakes in our relationship, but we decided to stay together and work on things. Now he is having some real control issues, well really always had them. He expects me to do as I am told, or puts that unspoken threat of his leaving out there. (that part is very clear) Should I play along, and act like he is the one in control or should I just let him know that it will never happen?

i have a family member that is rather well off, he just traded in his Cadillac Escalade for a brand new Coupe De Ville. Anyways, about a year and a half ago he said if I needed a car (before I had one) that i could see him and we could pick one out and he good put me on a payment plan i could live with. Now that I do need a car i cant find it in myself to ask because I do not want to come off greedy or whatever maybe needy. And i also do not want to hint at it, this guy is smart, and he will sniff it out (which might not be a bad thing). If they are not harming us (having sex with us) then gosh... what is there to discuss? Shouldn't we be concerned with who WE have sex with? I don't know about the rest of AMERICA, but I have too many things going on in my life to be eye-balling what's happening in other person's life. What about you? Are you concerned about who a person is having sex with(considering they are using condoms)? If you are concerned... then why? Do you not have anything else to worry about? In other words do you have a thing against gays? If so why?

Me and my partner have been together now for 5 years, we are enagaged to be married and are very much in love, so why don't we have sex as much anymore. Its gone down to about every 6 weeks now. I just never feel like it anymore. Does anybody else feel this way?

i think this would be a wonderful idea:
if you didnt hit it off the matchmaker would spare you any awkward embarassment and you could both withdraw gracefully.
also if the matchmaker insisted on id from both partners..you would feel far safer than newspaper adverts and the like, where you could meet any kind of freak whatsoever.
i would prefer this to meeting at a matchmakers house.
i know nothing about matchmakers...will there be at least one in every town or have i identified a gap in the dating market?
how do they operate? i would like the sort of arrangement where if we hit it off...we would buy a gift together for the matchmaker.
i wouldnt like it to be a strictly financial arrangement.
i can imagine this being a very emotionally rewarding activity for a sociable mature [50+] person with a lot of life experience.
maybe the ideal activity for certain disabled people?
are any of my readers doing this very thing in west yorkshire?

I have this 1st cousin Jessica that likes to go to this clothing optional beach in Miami and she is 27 and I am 33. I'm asking because someone's spreading a bad rumour about me and I'm so down about it.
