Yesterday I had to meet my fiance's ex-wife's parents at their house while we dropped off his 9 year old daughter. The ex-wife was there also, and I was already feeling stressed because I had an argument with my mother earlier that morning. My fiance introduced me to his ex's parents as his "friend". While they were all standing around laughing and chatting I felt like I wanted to have an out of body experience or something. . .It was very uncomfortable. Why did I have to meet them? Why do I have to be under scrutiny of my fiance's ex-wife and her family? I don't do the same thing to him and I have a child also. In addition, the ex-wife is still very close friends with his family and friends. I'm finding this all very hard to deal with and he doesn't seem to think anything of it. . and thinks Im the one being anal. I'm trying to be "cool" about it but I just don't feel accepted - like I don't really belong, especially while she is around... It's all too weird for me..

My partner and I were together for two and a half years, and had been married for one and a half. We'd had problems, but I love her and always had stayed in love with her. Less than a month and a half ago she decided she didn't want to be with me anymore. It's getting easier, but it can still hurt so much sometimes. How long does this last? I know it'll happen someday, but right now I can't imagine ever getting over losing her.

My wife is bent on destroying our family and refuses to get any treatment or read any books. I am willing to get the same tests/help or what ever just to get her in. Who knows, I may be the crazy one. I have read Dr Laura's books, Dr. Phil's books (I even got asked to be on the show. Because she would not go, he would not help. Boo for him.) I have even contacted Robi Ludwig (she is expensive) I have even ordered a few books online to no avail. She believes she is saving "her children" as she calls them from abuse. Don't ask, I don't get it. My three boys 6,9 &10 have a very good life with the exception of the mounting tension. I don't know who to ask for help. We have been to 3 psychologist and they just seem to make matters worse. I fear for my boys safety at this point because only a crazy woman would be so destructive to her marriage and family. Any suggestion? How and who do I see for treatment if she refuses?

I have been talkin to this man on line for over a year now and we have fallen in love and want to meet in person to see if there is a possibility that things could go further and i am concerned about my weight. I am not fat but I am tall (5" 10) and thick about the size of Queen Latifah but with a little more hips than she has. And I am worried that he will be disappointed with me....he has seen several pictures of me but it is not like seeing someone in person. Advise welcome from men and women.

I'm a singe guy, who's about to graduate from college next year, and my 39th birthday is this month. I've always wanted children, but I put off anything serious when I started college a couple of years ago.

I meet many different women, from college age up to 45, and have tried to date fairly close to my age. The thing is, I know a lot of younger women would like to have kids, while many women my age have kids in their mid teens, and don't want another child. I would just like to have the experience of helping a child as they grow up, go through school, learn sports or other hobbies. Having my own or meeting a woman with younger children would be great.

I know an age difference of 10 years can be difficult in a relationship, but should I maybe consider dating younger women if I want kids? Should I only look for women my age that haven't had a child, but would still like too? Should I just accept that maybe I'm not supposed to have any children?

She is divorced and gets $1900 a month child support AND 30% of her ex-husbands bonuses which average another $1200 a month. She constantly gives in and buys her boy and girl (age 12, 13) anything they want,, they whine they want a pool cuz the neighbors have one, she gets them one. They want to watch TV in the bathroom, she lets them string extension cord into the bathroom across the floor and the boy trips and TV falls and smashes, luckily NOT into the tub! She buys the girl a new TV, a plasma TV!! They do not do chores. She does not make her daughter who NEEDS a bra, wear a bra or shave her underarms!! Her son stole money from her purse and sisters drawer to buy levels on internet computer games, $600 and he was not punished and still plays World of Warcraft online until 2 a.m. She constantly wants MORE $ from her ex for all the stuff the kids need, school supplies, clothes, etc. (isn't that what Child support is earmarked for??)

Besides being able to file joint taxes and a few other minor benefits, why go through the process when most married people are unhappy and the divorce rate is over 50%. There are a lot of other beneifts to not being married. Also, if you have kids, you can give them any last name you want.

Hubby & I have been married 4 yrs... the last 4 mths we've been constantly fighting... we have 2 kids a 2 yr boy & a 7 mth girl... my problem is that I feel like i've been pushed to the side... his work comes first (works 60 hrs a week) then the kids... then whatever else is important at the time and i guess i'm throw in somewhere at the end. I told him I was unhappy and lonely.. and he said... well i don't know what i'm supose to do... I have to work and when i get home i wanna spend time with the kids... so I started chatting online... I have come across a special connection with someone... I moved out last week & told my husband it was over because he just doesn't seem to care... i told him about this other guy... he said that i'm basically a cheater... now this other guy wants to meet me and we've arranged flights and hotels... I'm so confused because I do love my husband but he doesn't seem to care... do i meet this other guy? or will l regret it? is my marriage over?

I filed for divorce but my spouse counter filed for gruel and abusive and told people that the longer the fight the longer the spouse would stay married. My spouse uses my children as pawns not giving me any time except within the temporary orders. She had anger issues and I have a very good GAL Report staing I should have more time with my kids.

If after 30 years of marriage you found out your husband had been cheating on you for the last 3 years with an ex work s--t. Could you forgive him. It was not all his fault we had been having problems but that really blew me away. Please if anyone has any similar problems can you let me know. What really took the cake was she knew he was married and didn't care. All she cared about was getting what she wanted which was him.He even left me for her when l found out, l dont think he could handle the guilt. She is well and trully off the scene now for good and will be off the face of the earth if l ever see her around. We are working things out at the moment. What do you all think?

My husband has been under a great deal of stress-more than I ever dreamed. Just the other night, he didn't come home from work. His cell phone was turned off and I couldn't reach, or find, him. He called me over four hours after he was supposed to get home. He was crying and asking me to call 911 because he had slit his wrist. He's home from the hospital now, on meds, and scheduled for counseling. How do I know if things are okay with him in the future? I am really worried about him. I love him with all of my heart. I myself suffer from depression, but have never attempted to take my own life.
