Some men just dont know how to express their feelings, if you dealt with it this long why is it just now bothering you? He probably wont change, if you love him just understand he doesnt know how to express his feelings.

Intoxicated? Sometimes people ask a question and they already know the answer, they just need someone else to validity it. You know the answer. Don't choose to spend your precious time with a man who both thinks so little of himself that he needs to get intoxicated and thinks so little of you that he can only support the love you give him when his inhibitions are clouded. Take chances with your life and close this chapter in your life and open a new door. You know the answer and it is to leave and wait for your soul mate to meet up with you at the right time.

If you have been with him for several years then it sounds like you have already found a way to deal with it.
If its a change you need then talk with him and tell him your true feelings. Remember though he will only change if he wants to.
You know him the best so try to get through to him in whatever manner you think will work. Good Luck

Get professional help FAST!!! You BOTH need counseling. He needs to find out why he is unable to show you affection. He may need help with his drinking as well. You need help dealing with all of this. There are deeper issues here that are causing these situations to surface.

You stop all ur wifely duties that he's become dependent upon, cooking dinner, doing his laundry , cleaning up after him, having sex, and when he wonders why, let him know when he starts treating u like his wife that u'll start acting like his wife again..

He obviously has emotional issues that you should not have to be responsible for. I suggest you dump him and find someone that can function without alcohol or drugs.
