Marriage & Divorce - 5 July 2006

I found some suspicious things about hubby on internet. I asked him what is going on. He never gives me straight answers and he always shuts down. He says he wants to work on our marriage, but will we be able to? He seems like he is hiding something from me and he doesn't want to admit to whatever he is doing. Is counseling going to help? Or is this going to ultimately going to end up in divorce? I've never pried into his personal accounts before, and this is the first time I've wanted his passwords... he said he will never give them up, but he loves me and wants to be mine forever... does this make sense to anyone? I love him, but I just don't know how to deal with this anymore...

After almost 10 years of marriage my husband cried foul after marrying under the knowledge that we had a swinging lifestyle. We both swung, he with my girlfriends and me with other girls. But as soon as I wanted to swing with a guy he cried foul, took all our joint funds behind my back, refused to talk, and left.

A double standard?

I am married to my wife for four years and love her dearly. However, the past year has been unhappy because of her children and her spending habits. I am angry with her over this, but I cannot talk to her without her bringing up my faults which i am convinced are triggered over her irresponsibility and the demands she puts on me.

i have been married to my husband for 10 yrs now. ive known him since i was 14 and knew that he was married one time before and i knew he had a son. well when the baby was 5 months old his wife said she was going ti visit family and she never came back. his son is now 19yrs. old and we have 4 other children in the ages of 14, 4, & 3.we talk about it and he always gets down around the holidays and his sons birthday.however i have located his son and i told him i found him and i asked him did he want to contact him, and he says he dont know. i want to contact his son and tell him where his father is and try to reunite them. do you think i should do it and not tell him until we get a date set or should i let him make that call on his own. i think hes nervous and is afraid that his son might hate him or be angry with him. so please if there is anyone out there who can give me advice please let me know .

She has stopped taking the drug, but it has left her with only the memory that I'm the problem. She had a spiritual event occur during her hypo-mania & only sees what happened to her as a good thing, not realizing the terrible anxiety she experienced. It has left me walking on eggshells around her trying not to upset her. She has lost all desire for sex & sees it only as my evil desires. I have become a problem in her life, not the love of her life we experienced before.

okay...this is too much for me...but I love him and I am trying to deal with this. He has an ex wife who he has paid the mortgage on for the last 8 years. Last year, when we were separated, he bought a house with a GF and now has that mortgage to pay for....they split up when she realized he still loved me...He is now trying to sell the house of the ex wife to pay off part of the loan he made when he bought the new house....He has one more month to sell the old house....and has been spending all of his time trying to repair it to sell. I feel neglected and also, somewhat angry, that he bought this new house with the "old" girlfriend. It is also one house away from where his parents live, who also are raising his two children. I live in a very nice area and own my home. I don't see myself ever moving into the house he has recently bought. Whoever renuvated the place did a horrible job, besides the fact that he used the other gf to buy it with......what are your thoughts.

I been with my husband for about 10 years and help him raise his daughter. I watched her grow into a young lady. She was raised by her dad and me, while her mother moved on with her life and new family. Now that my step-daughter is grown, her and her mother is pretty close. She tells her mother everything about her dad. How well he's doing and all. For some odd reason, I felt like a fool. After all these years with this child, she always respected me but i don't have any kids but her. She never gave me nothing for a birthday, mother's day but sometimes on christmas. I give and gave this child so much support and money threw out these years, now i feel like a dam fool!!. Everyone got something even her mother that never gave, gets something not me. Should i mention this to my husband or keep asking god to reveal more to me?!

I notice that alot of men tend to cheat with women who are less attractive than their girlfriends. Is it because the other women provides something that their girlfriend doesn't, or is it because they can actually be on the down low with a female they would not normally date in public???????

I'll start by saying this, we were a military couple. We had been married 13 years and she was deployed, before she got back I was deployed and forced to dump my kids then 13 and 10 at their grandpas house for 3 months. We then split up upon my return, built an incredible friendship in the process of seperation, got back together after about a year apart (not counting deployed time of 2 years) were happy or so I thought, then she volunteers to deploy, lies about it, makes me look like an **** because I was pissed, sort of like if your spouse were cheating and everyone knew except you but no one told. She's gone for 9 months advancing her career, I'm home playing supermom/dad. Now she comes back, dumps me with no good reason and feels she needs to provide none, and is pissed off because I moved out and am enjoying some serious soul searching time. Looking out for #1, worrying about myself exclusively. I take the kids, but for the most part I feel I'm owed time by myself. Am I wrong?
