i would think
"PRAISE GOD THERE'S A REAL GENTLEMAN ALIVE IN AMERICAN!"

but seriously, by saving yourself completley for your spouse....your intamacy will be more rewarding. just how God wants it

If he truly is a virgin, I'd say congrats to him for this nice idea and yes he should really stick to it.
Moreover, there are many cultures around the world where being a virgin till marriage is required and highly valued.

But... what if his true love happens to be a non-virgin?
Would he leave her behind or not give it a chance just because she is not completing the ideal picture 100%? Wouldn't that be unfair?
I think people should rather be strict to themselves and permissive with the partner... if one sets the expectations too high, one may never find the right person..... there is a slight danger of over-idealizing the situation in this case.

At least they should make sure that chemistry is working though... I mean kissing, even seeing each other naked..... or at least try some little things before marriage..... ahh, this virginity question, what a complex issue if you still are one... and what a nonsense, for those who aren't any more!!

:)))

i'd say u have a guy with real christian values....and that's not a bad thing. i'm curious how the conversation came about? if you are both virgins, then you must both have these same convictions. but here's another way to look at it. there are so many devasting std's out there today. why take a chance? if ur not absolutely certain this is who you want to marry and that he's wants to marry you, then why take a chance on getting something that clorox can't remove and ruining your life in the process. imagine how it would feel to finally meet the man of your dreams and have to tell him that you have an std? that would be a difficult conversation to say the least. and there are so many unwanted, unplanned pregnancies these days. lots of times there's only one parent ot raise them and that ain't fun, hon. that's a real job and then you have to support them. there are tons of children out there that no one wants to raise these days and it's so sad. i hope the next generation does better. it just sounds like your fellow has a head on his shoulders too and he's not afraid to use it.....he probably has a backbone too. might be a good catch and well worth the wait.
praying for you, chick

I think if a man could resist such temptation, he's a strong person. That's a choice he made, and if he finds a virgin, they could make the same choice together, to stay as virgins before marriage. But if he falls in love with a girl that's not a virgin, I think he should rethink if this virginity is a must have in a girl or does he love her and her other qualities more to overlook virginity.

I think it is a great idea. However, I would wonder if perhaps the guy would want to "try on others" after his first go round. The other thought, and this may be a selfish one, but what if he is not a good lover? (I am being kind). Intimacy is very important in a marriage.

that would be the most wonderful thing. People are even doing the reborn virgin thing, that means that they aren't virgins but want to save themselves for marriage. Sex is sacred, every time you perform it you give a piece of yourself away, why not give all those pieces to the one you will spend forever with?

I think it would be great. What an awesome thing to do for the person you want to marry. I know a lot of people who have sex before marriage and then regret it, I think it's great he wants to wait.

Nowadays, that would be a good thing. You never know what you might catch in this day and age. I wouldn't think any less of someone saving himself for his virgin wife. To each his own.

I would think that is noble of him for himself but to put that kind of standards on his wife, is really not fair. You can hope she is, but there are alot more qualities you consider in a wife than having her virginity intact.

That is too awesome! You'd know the relationship wasn't all about sex! I married the first virgin I seriously dated in my adult life. He was 33 when we got married.
