I am married to my wife for four years and love her dearly. However, the past year has been unhappy because of her children and her spending habits. I am angry with her over this, but I cannot talk to her without her bringing up my faults which i am convinced are triggered over her irresponsibility and the demands she puts on me.

You can never really let go of someone you truly love. Regardless of faults if she's in your heart you can never truly let go. I have been seperated from my husband for the last year and a half. I have had so many people tell me to just let go. But i can't. And my husband has some serious issues. Regaurdless of what everyone will tell you...only you know what you should do and how to feel. Good Luck.

See a counselor separately then together right now!
In my view, the woman is sick! And she is very immature-- playing tit for tat and switching subjects in the discussion.
You are headed for misery if you dont see a marriage counselor
Spending habit? She aint' never gonna' change that unless she runs out of money.
If it gets worse, leave her! Life is too short and you WILL get over it. I have. I was in love and it hurt for a while but I healed and I am better off!
Good luck
PS. Dont stay for the children's sake. Growing up in a bad atmosphere is worse than divorce

i know the feeling. there is no better way than talking to her even if she brings up your faults..you have to accept that. talk if you both still want this relationship to work or not, if so, then start over without bringing the past back and if not, move on with your life. dont forget to pray.
