I have a beautiful 7 year old daughter and a husband of 5 years together 10 . I always thought marriage was more then this ? I dunno how im suppost to feel ..maybe its not the real thing maybe im just used to him ive been with him for so long .. I cant see myself with anyone else .. I mean I know i love him but i question his love for me ...he keeps me isolated from the world it seems.. but yet he's always telling me to make friends or get out and do things but when I try he makes up an excuse for me not too?? I didnt know being married feels so lonely ..does it ? I want to make our family work but it seems like nothing I do is ever good enough for him .. and I have gained 30 pounds thru the years ..maybe he's not attracted to me anymore ? what can i do to rekindle what we used to have ..I feel he is only here becuz he feels he needs to be cuz of our child ? I mean is this how love is suppost to feel ?

How do you make a person confess to something that you know they did? Even when you put all the evidence out on the table they still deny it, and come up with even worse excuses?

My husband has never wore his wedding ring and I always have. Sometimes I feel like he is embarrassed to wear it, and we have been married 4 years and this still bothers me. He claims it's because he does not like to wear jewelry, I think otherwise, and it really hurts me deep inside. What do you think the reason is, and before you say talk to him we have argued and talked our brains out about this and he still won't wear it

Together for 10 years. ROM for 3 years. He keeps saying I force him to settle down by commiting to a flat which he can't afford. Last year, he met a girl while on an overseas trip, and they have been on a long-distance relationship ever since. But we still love each other. I'm trying to understand how other girls will deal with such a situation, if divorce is not the only option.

I have been married for 1 1/2 yrs to a man who is so unemotional. He claims to be happy all the time. Nothing "gets to him". Not that I want trouble for him but it seems he is disconnected whether it be the birth of our son or someone close to us dying. I will add he is a firefighter and I know that in that line of duty they have to have an on/off button. It just seems his is always off. He professes his love for me daily.....but does not show it in his actions. This is my second marriage (my first one was much more deep emotionally) Long story as to how and why it ended, it is in the past anyway. I just love this man so deeply and wish so much that we could share a deeper connection. In the beginning I thought we did but as I look back I realize it was all me! I was always having to do all the "work". After a while I layed low to see if he would step up and when he did not I began to resent all that I did for him/us. Then I went through a stage of what I would call pitiful....almost

Well...I recently have and it's a horrible feeling. I was a temp employee at this job and developed a crush on a female co-worker (I'm also female). I asumed she may be Lesbian because of how she dresses and just her mannerisms. I was in the process of divorcing ( we have no kids) and was just at a critical point in my life and having feelings for the first time towards a female. I probably intiated the flirtations which led to lots of eye contact and smiling, and she also attempted to start conversations with me at times...tried to make me fit-in as a new temp. She's a manager but not mine. I developed this crush and didn't know how to handle it. I felt like there was mtual attraction but also an awkwardness between us. Suddenly the eye contact and smiles and conversation stopped because she quit trying. I sensed something had changed but on my last day of this temp assignment, I somewhat confessed my feelings or crush. I followed up with some e-mails to her at work, explaining my

My husband and I have been married 9 months. This is my second marriage, his third. Both of our previous marriages lasted 20+ years. During those years, I spent the majority of my time raising my three children which gave me no time for much else. However, my husband and his ex spent their time traveling, going all over the country, visiting exotic restaurants, attending the theater, balls, etc., seeing performances of stars one only hears about. I hear about the experiences and all the good times daily. At first I didn't mind, but when he pulls out videos of the two of them white-water rafting in Colorado, or I hear about limo rides in Manhattan, I wonder, "what do I care?" Am I being unduly resentful or is he being inconsiderate of focusing on a past that I have no part of? I wonder how we can have a future if he's still in the past.

Has it always been this way or have you had problems in the past and worked through them to get past them and now have a better marriage for it? Do you wish you had a Rock Solid marriage if you are currently having problems? What would you do to improve or make your marriage to your current spouse a better one?
