i'm getting divorced and i moved out about a month ago, and now with my current room mate i just don't want to do anything. i don't feel socially acceptable because all i do is complain about the tortures and harrassment that my soon to be ex is putting me through. there is so much that he is doing to try and ruin my life.

Most days i just when i'm done with work, all i want to do is go home and sleep. i know that i'm depressed. but i try to do active things and hang out with friends but i think i'm annoying them cause all i ever do is complain about my divorce.

when does this stop? when will i feel like i can move on and not drive my friends away?

My ex husband is a total control freak and is supposed to pick up my kids for vistation on a tues eve. for a few hours and he refuses to do so even though he know I work late. Needless to say this causes a huge amount of frustration for me. He keeps them friday through sat til 7pm. Any ideas on how I can get him to cooperate. I would like to be able to just not arrive home at 7pm on Sat. and stay out for a couple of hours to get back at him but I'm afraid I'll only get myself in trouble for contempt as 7pm is the time stated for drop off on the divorce.

I just don't understand the mentality today that seperation equals freedom. Seperation from your spouse was basically so that you can work on your issues and your spouse can work on theirs so that your marriage could possibly be restored.
Why do most people think it's a free for all and run out looking for other relationships that they can screw up? I realize that I'm gonna piss a few people off by saying this but its honest if you think about it. You can't have a good relationship with anyone until you figure out why your first one failed. Jumping from bed to bed only adds fuel to the fire and doesn't solve anything and the "prince" or "princess" who saved you from your "rotten" spouse only becomes another thorn in your side and you repeat history. Ask anyone who's been married more than once! I just don't get it and I hope I never do! How do you rationalize??

I'm Greek. In my culture what I know, not many people divorce or at least the divorce rate is not as high as here in America.

It seems that so many people that I encounter have been married at least once or twice here in America.
With all the unfaithfulness and decrease in family values, do you think its a waste to get married these days or believe that marriage is not as sacred as it used to be?

I need advise. I am 25 yearls old, have a good job, very good looking, very healthy. I feel that my biological clock is ticking and I want ot get married soon. I don't have a boyfrined right now. But I am hearing from all my frined, that are married, and seeing from the life of other people that marriage doedn't really work for most people. Every one, who I spoke with, has been married fro more then few years and they all tell me about how they hate it. Also I have witnessed on several ocations husbands have cheated on their wifes. On few of them married guys attempted to cheat with me on their wifes. So I am just thinking here-is marriage really worth it? Are there any happy married couples that are still in love with each other and glad that they gor married? Are there any husbands that will not cheat on their wifes and will still love them, after the first few years of marriage?

I have been with my husband for just over 5 years. Our relationship did not start off passionately..like we weren't head over heels in love...but we got along as friends so we dated and eventually married. We have had many ups and dows but we have become closer because of our problems and now I think we would do anything for one another. Is this love? or is love the head over heels stuff that we did not experience?

She was working 2 jobs going to school and taking care of almost all the house work and our 2 kids. She told me she needs to be alone that she isnt sure she loves me. But we slept in the same bed untill the day she moved out. She has told her sister she knows I'm a good guy and a great father, and doesnt know why she feels this way, but she can't continue this way. She misses the hugging and cuddling couples are supposed to do. She even told me before she left she wasn't sure I loved her. But I do love her and already miss her very much. In the last 3 weeks we haven't spoken much just when we meet for the kids. I was over there on Sunday morning and she was in her silk pijamas I had given her, I complimented how nice they looked on her and she said you were the one who gave them to me. She asked me to let her make the first move, and I want to respect that but after another month would it be ok If i attempted to ask her out on a date? I think she is feeling somewhat lonely.

His job sent him away for a couple of weeks and I can't stop thinking about him. I don't want to be with anyone else and I cut off all of my male friends. He doesn't believe that I really care for him and I don't know if I should use the word "LOVE" to convince him. I want to marry this man. I want to be the one he looks forward to seeing. I want to be the one he depends on and trust. I believe that we make a great team. I don't want to rush anything but I just want him to know that with me he doesn't have to worry about anything, anymore now that I am in his life. I admire him and I would be so proud to call him my husband. I want my family to meet him and love him the way I do. I believe he is the one.

My boyfriend other baby momma sent me an email with a letter from 4 years ago saying that he didn't love me and he wanted to be with her. At this time he had been caught up cheating on the both of us. I was pregnant at the time and she had just had a baby. ( hesays isn't his) Anyway, in the letter he says he wants to be with her not me. But at the same time he was sending me the same kind of letter. Of course 5 years ago I didn't know about the letter so I got back with him. Now I know about the letter. Do forgive him and move on. Or should I leave because now I know how he felt back then. I kicked him out the house and sent his clothes to his mom's house. He sent me flowers apologizing and he wont read the letter. He says it's in the past and that I should move on and that we have a good life together. What should I do?

I'm a Christian man with a wive who has had several affairs (more that 4). After separating for about 2 months, she says that she misses me and our child and she says that she has changed and wants to start going to church. In the process of our separation, I met a really nice young lady (who is a Christian). I stopped talking to my friend when she said that she was willing to work things out. I really need advice. I have probably lost a good friend in all of this, but I had to do what was best for the child..............HELP

You know how when something is new it is all full of excitement and then after you get comfortable together there isn't that spark anymore, how can I get that spark back?
